The quickest way is to cut out red meats, starches, breads, sugars, alcohal, and sodas.

Drinking bottled water is a way to easily monitor your intake per day. Get some recipes for low fat cooking. Food can be healthy and fulfulling at the same time. And remember to feed your cravings; just do it in moderation. There are many low fat deserts and snacks out there that don't taste as such. And of course, exercise!

Lose weight by starting to exercise, EAT RIGHT, and drink lots and lots of water. You may say "I drink water..", but I am quite sure, many people do not drink enough water. 8-10 glasses minimum is a must.

In doing your exercise on the machine, set it to "weight loss mode". If your pulse rate goes above the limit that it shows on your machine for weight loss, slow down and adjust.

Profuse sweating and being out of breathe does not mean you are working out. You are just burning sugar and not fat. You will only eat more and there is no weight loss reward for your workout.

Myth: Fat does not turn into muscle.

You MUST have weight lifting as part of your routine to give your body the chance to burn those calories. Muscle mass will improve, thus efficiently burn whatever you eat and the fat will slowly disappear. Workout does not give you license to eat a lot of food either.

Here is one: Don't step on the scale. If you have one, throw it out.
Dont weight yourself. If you must, do so once a year at your doctor's office.

Only way you can tell you are shaping up is to observe how well your clothes fit you.

Instaed of eating three main meals a day, eat VERY small meals about seven times a day. for example eat an apple at 8:00 in the morning then maybe two hours later have some crackers with cheese(please forgive me if your a vegan) then maybe an hour later havehalf a sandwich and go on from there. BUT make sure your snacks are HEALTHY and not junk food because junk food will make you fat. Also get lots of exercise!!! hope this helps!! :)

About 3 months ago I weighed 290 lb.s and I went to the Alumbaugh clinic for weight mngmt. and I have lost 45 lb.s.They took blood and asked a couple health questions, then gave me a perscription for 2 pills.I take 1 at 10 am and 1 at 2 pm.your suppose to exercise,but I didn't.On my job I walk constanly and thats all I did. They tell you to eat many times a day, just small portions.
