Unfortuneatly because of mass media men have been painted as "dogs". We are all unfaithful, untrustworthy and dangerous. What we have to do collectively as men, is be true to ourselves and what is morally right, and hopefully it will go away.

Yes it does go both ways. But in the past we, as men, did deserve alot of the generalizations put on us...now we have to live them down.

Of course it does. It is not right for either gender to do so, but yes, both do it and it has been shown statistically that it is almost as many women as men who do it.
Another thing I notice is that, when men cheat they are doing just because they are sex-craved pigs, but when women do it, something must be wrong (ie. they do not get enough love at home etc).
It's just another one of those sterotypes we dump on society that probably won't change anytime soon.

I guess I agree, although I think women have just gotten tired of being the ones cheated on and finally said "Enough's enough!". What's good for the gander is good for the goose! I am a woman, and I don't cheat. It may be tempting sometimes, but "do onto others as you would have done to you".

It goes both ways. It seems that the vocal cheaters among the male portion of the population are on Jerry Springer and Maury - the women are quiet, know the consequences of being caught, and tend to be more discreet.

I totally agree. I am female, have never cheated, but, I have noticed that more of my female friends have compared to my male friends. At times I think it's because my female friends feel like they don't get enough attention so they go for the attention that will be the easiest and make THEM feel the most wanted.

Of course it goes both ways. It is a double standard that men are cheaters. Women tend to think that as long as their "man" is still getting some she can spread the good love to others. If a man does it, it is the equivalent of heresy. I guess that its ok though, there are plenty of double standards against women as well.

The reason you see why do men cheat more often is because women are more cautious. We try not to get caught. Men don't seem to care. Or don't know how to hold there story together.
