We have had boxes on several occassion and they are not lazy dogs. Boxes are very energetic dogs. But they are prone to digestive problems which may mean yours is not getting enough nutrients. She may be malnurished. Try putting some egg into her food, or ground beef, that is what we did when they started to lose energy. If that doesn't help perk her up I'd take her to a vet.

First off how old is ur boxer? Mine will be 9 in December. She is lazy at times. But I make her take evening walks. It's not hard to do. She loves to go for a walk. Your dog may be sad from the other dog dieing. I'd give your Boxer time to get over it. It takes dogs a while to get over things just like it is hard for humans. She will snap out of it, but take ur dog to the park or for walks, but make sure u take a water bottle and a pocket full of treats to make it more fun for the boxer and when she potties pick it up and then give her a treat from ur pocket to let her know she did a good job. that works for my boxer ALL the time.

Boxers are usually very energetic and excitable. But they can have different personalities, just like people can. It is very possible that she is mourning the death of your other dog. Dogs are extremely sensitive to these things. If your truly concerned that their may be something wrong then take her to the vet to get a check up.
I'm not sure what caused the death of your other dog, but if it was something contagious then your Boxer may have it to.

MEMEME! I have two! Love 'em!

A lazy boxer-that is something I have never heard of. Ever. One of mine became lethargic and began losing hair-the vet tested her for thyroid problems and now my dog (8 years old) is on meds and plays with my two month old boxer puppy. So if your boxer is sluggish, get the vet to check her. And give her a big hug from me :-)
