Because most of the time they are taken out of context... You may write it as you see it.. but you never read the full before and after.. and a few study notes in between. You just see... death to this or that person and assume it's all God's fault or there is no purpose...

People that are true and that really want the honest answer research it for themselves. Not try to test Christians on the yahoo answers site like ignorant "know it all's"

Usually its because the person who quoted it, quoted it without knowing or acknowledging the context it was written in. The Bible says "Meaningless Meaningless, everything is meaningless" to believe that is true, is to take the passage out of context because it was stated in showing what wrong things people were teaching at the time. The Bible shows there is meaning to everything, but this was being taught by teachers that were not teaching what God wanted.

Other times people say "thats taken out of context" is because its not what that person specifically believers and its an easy cop out.

The idea is that the way you see it, isn't the only way to see it. Obviously, if a Christian says "you are taking it out of context" they believe there is something more to it than what you've read. Sometimes the Bible isn't so cut and dry that you can take a single verse and imply that it means ONLY one thing.

My mom tries this each cases she would not get what she needs. A Christian can no longer tell yet another that they don't look to be Christian, extremely they ought to talk about to the different individual (meekly) the position they don't look to be following God's note. How can the first Christian understand if the 2d's call is written in the e book of existence? assorted the time, telling yet another Christian they don't look to be extremely a Christian is only the former "holy than thou," bit. only attempting to make themselves sense more desirable, that's all.

Who knows? Maybe it's because your point of view or interpretation is too radical for them to comprehend? Maybe they perceive you to be an instigator trying to stir up trouble. It's always hard to say because the Word is "spiritually given, and spiritually discerned." We can't read it with a carnal mind and expect it to mean the same things to everyone who reads it.

Why do you assume every question about God has to refer to the bible! When I ask a question about god like the one you just answered....I will never base it on a book written by man! Do not assume that my God has anything to do with ignorant and vindictive nonsence and I will not assume you are a fool!
