I wish I could say yes but I can't, my mother was jealous of my fathers and my relationship when I was little and she has never gotten over that. I was raised by my Great Grandmother and Great Grandfather , I went home to my parents once or twice a week and most of the time I spent it playing with my dad. My mom has cancer now and there is no cure for the kind she has, I will miss her when she goes but unfortunately I never had the relationship my friends had with their mothers. It is something I don't regret though because between my dad and my Great grandparents I couldn't have had a better childhood. Don't get me wrong I love my mom without her I wouldn't be here its just not the same kind of love I shared with My Great Grandmother who passed away last May 28,05 at 92, my heart still aches to tell her my secrets and hopes for the future. It is a weird feeling to know that my friends all have their mother to share things with and the woman who meant so much to me left me before I was 30. It made me understand how others felt to lose a parent at a young age I believe that in everyone heart there is a place for their mother whether she was the most important or not..

Yes, my mother to this day is the most important person in my life. We might be arguing right now and not living together, but after hearing the heart attack she went through the day before her birthday made me realize that, I dont wanna be alone without a mother. She needs me and I need her. I wanna be able to say that before she dies that she will always have that special part in my heart for her no matter the distance or feelings. I Love You Mom!

No, I would have to say that my mother is not the most important person in my life. She has let me down in many, many ways, some with very serious implications. I love her and respect her but the older I have become, the less significant she has become in my life. The most important person in my life is my daughter and I want her to grow up knowing that I am her number one supporter, comforter and fan.

No she is not...growing up my mother was never around and her boyfriends were always more important than me and my 2 brothers. I was raised by my grandmother pretty much and that is who i consider mostly my mother. To this day, me and my mom arent very close and at times i still resent her for not being a part of my life when i was younger.

My mother is one of the most important people of my life. She was until I had children of my own. Of course my daughter is most important to me now but I still look to my mother for guidance.

INTERESTING you said that i was just thinking of my grandmother.SHE was the most important person in my life.A couple of years ago she had back surgery and i warned her not to. She insisted, she didnt want us to care 4 a crippled person. She dont know this but i would have cared 4 her. I MISS HER MORE THEN ANY ONE ON EARTH. SHE was the only mother i knew. My real mother was in and out of my life( and abusive). BUT granny was there always with love and even tho she is gone she is so close to my heart. you know if "God made any thing better he just kept it 4 his self." 4 ever in my heart my grabdmother the only mother i know.

YES she is!!!
It's somewhat hard to say that because I do have a boyfriend of over five years, who I intend on spending the rest of my life with....so in some aspects, he is the most important person in my everyday life.
But overall, it's MOM!!! I am everything I am today because of her (literally because she made me)
And I know I am the most important person in her life too (along with HER mom)

Yes, my mother is the most important person in my life. Without her, I would be nothing. Back when I was a teenager, I hated her. (Those teenage years....) Now, I realize how much love and repsect my mon has for me and I have the same for her.

No. My mother left me when I was a tiny baby and my grandparents (her parents) raised me. They were the most important people in my life. My grandfather died in 1989, but my grandmother is still living and will turn 92 next month. It is not the person who gives birth to you who should matter most, it is the people who raise you and nurture you who should.
