BICHON FRISE BECAUSE The Bichon Frise's name translates to mean, ''Curly Lap Dog.'' He is a tough and healthy dog who was bred to be a lap dog for French Royalty, but during the French Revolution, became street dogs, and only the toughest survived. To keep the Bichon's coat healthy you must brush it frequently. A cheerful attitude is the hallmark of the breed. The Bichon Frise is a small, sturdy, white powder puff of a dog whose merry temperament is evidenced by his plumed tail carried jauntily over the back and his dark-eyed inquisitive expression.

Well i have a miniature schnauzer, and here are the reasons....
#1. He is hypoallergenic.. which means that no one will have an allergic reation to him.
#2 He doesn't shed because he is a long hair... which means no hair al over the house!!!
#3 He is small enough to sit in you lap but still big enough to play with without hurting the dog or yourself!

The best dogs we have ever owned were not chosen for the breed (or lack of it) but were adopted as adults after making appointments to meet and "interview " them. I have owned purebred... collie, poodles, miniature german shepherd, cocker spaniel, pomeranian, And I have had 3 mixed breed 1- Sally, a beagle/spaniel female, 2 Ginger, a labrador/german shepherd female, and 3 currently Jawsie, a collie/chow cross. The sweetest of them was Sally the beagle/spaniel cross who could even climb trees with my sons when they were young. Ginger, the lab/shep was the most athletic and loved everything to do with swimming or playing ball. She even pealed her own grapefruit! She would, on a hot day, wade out into our small lake and sit with her muzzle just above water and her ears just floating on the surface. She always carried her dog food bag with her like a lunch sack. Great old girl she was. Now, Jawsie? She's my now-dog, very spoiled says "I love you" which means she has to pee. Her main claim to fame is her love for riding in my jeep or boat. She hates to fetch or tug but loves to run.

Well, I don't think I'd want a witch dog. That sounds scary.
But if you mean which type of dog, I love them all.

As for an outside dog I prefer German Sheppards. I'd love to have a Great Dane, if I could afford to feed it, lol.
Indoor dog - I'd like to have another Mini-Pinscher. I had one but had to give her away, because she was hateful with my kids.
