i sometimes listen to music that i've heard during the time when i was happy -- it relaxes me because the music triggers that memory and it relaxes you immediately. notice how sometimes even if it was just regular music and if you were angry at that time, whenever you hear that music, you feel angry again? same with happiness.

That's something I have had to work very hard to achieve. I have found that true relaxation for me comes from getting a massage, quilting or doing other crafts... my best method though is prayer.
It took me a very long time to find what works for me. It's different for everyone. Good luck to you, I know it's not easy!

I truly achieve relaxtion in one of two ways. I go to the driving Range and smack ball after ball with my Driver. After a while you just get intoa rythym. Note I certainly do not get that feeling of relaxation when I am on the course playing...
Second, I go for a nice long bike ride. Either by myself or with my son. The longer we ride the better I feel

Sleep, Meditation, prayer, stretching, massaging my neck/shoulders/face, yoga.
I also enjoy a shower (hot in the winter, cool in the summer) with the lights out, candles lit, and soft music playing. Mmmm, bliss!

Yoga is great, but I prefer going for a walk in the woods and listening to the sounds there, its such a change from the normal city noises.

Definitely, watching the sea... but since I don't live close to the sea anymore, I am trying to think about something else to do to get relaxed.
