Mary and Joseph had other children besides Jesus. I can't remember how many, but they are briefly mentioned early in the New Testament. It was just part of the natural order of things. His earthly siblings were just that, earthly! they had no supernatural abilities or powers, they were mortal. But they could be granted immortality if they followed God's salvation plan like everyone else.

This is trickier question than you might imagine. Yes, there are references in the NT to "brothers," as in John 2:12 which says, "After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and his brothers and his disciples and stayed there for a few days."
The Greek for "brothers," or "brethren" could mean literal brothers, cousins, friends from him village, etc. So which is it? Nobody knows for sure.
Protestants don't generally assert Mary as having remained a virgin throughout her life so a you'd be more likely to find support for Jesus having biological family members from this camp.
Catholics who assert the virginity of Mary would say -and there's plausibility here too- that because Joseph was older than Mary, perhaps a widower, the other "brothers" were his children by a first marriage.

Her had many HALF-siblings, with Joseph as the father. Here is one scriptural citing.
John 7 :
1 After these things, Jesus was walking in Galilee, for he wouldn't walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him.
2 Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was at hand.
3 His brothers therefore said to him, "Depart from here, and go into Judea, that your disciples also may see your works which you do.
4 For no one does anything in secret, and himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world."
5 For even his brothers didn't believe in him.

Read Mark 6:3 and Galatians 1:19 in your Bible and you will see for yourself that he does have a brother name James. He also had other sisters and brothers.

If you are referring to the 2002 archaeological find of a limestone ossuary (bone box) that may have held the remains of James the “brother” of Jesus. More can be read about it below...

He may have had several siblings. They may have been born to Mary after Jesus, or they may have been Mary's stepchildren with Joseph.
