I just got back to work with my food, and my order is completely wrong. Why do places hire STUPID people for these jobs? I know it doesn't pay much, but I did it in high school and rarely ever made a mistake. but now it's 3 outta 4 times it's SCREWED.

It is mainly due to the language barrier. Most workers speak very little english and even some that are full american have trouble completing a simple task! I was told not long ago that some fast-food places are experimenting with having people IN INDIA take your order and then send it back to the resturaunt through the web! Because they work cheaper than paying someone to stand at the window and take your order!!
If any of you have called a credit card company and got someone that you can hardly understand you are talking to someone on the other side of the word! You can also tell if there is a dead-silence pause between your questions and their answers. This is because they can only transmit in one direction at a time plus the slight delay in the time it takes to get there.

Call the place back, and tell them. The manager will take your name and offer to give you a free one the next time you come in.

because people don't take pride in their work or much else . because big companies don't care about their products . because we as a society want everything yesterday.
because they get yelled at by customers for taking to long.
