Generally we hear the names which penetrates upto a mild part of brain which consists of replaceable matters. So in the same way we too forget the names frequently. We can improve our memory by frequently remembering those names and pictures of the persons. This needs only 0.79% of effort which we make in our daily life. This is to be practised only upto 12 days only. Now if u have understood this n elect this as the best answer ur going to definitely remember my ID. This is also one of the technique.

I don't know much about remembering peoples' names, but to improve memory you can try writing a series of number every morning (you can start with combination of 3 numbers) and try to remember it at noon and again at night. If succeded than you can increase the number of combination. I had read this somwhere but I forgot the name of the book. Good luck!

Adequate sleep aids good memory, especially when you grow older like in the 30s and 40s or something. And eating certain foods can improve your memory, i don't know which ones in particular though, and you can also just pay attention when someone tells you their name, and try to remember how they look like. If you find it hard to pay attention, you can maybe meditate, which will help expand your awareness and senses. K, peace bro.

not all people are the same... some are visual, some are auditory (hearing), some are olfactory (smell)
whatever category you're in, your specialty will help you remember it. with me, im more with auditory -- it helps me remember things by the sounds i have heard. i was just in the middle of a fight among teenage boys last week (i was walking and they started fighting in front of me). i could not remember what they look like, but i can remember the sounds. i can remember the colors of the clothes (because colors are very easy to remember).
so try to find yours, and when you meet a person and want to remember his/her name, try to relate that memory with something. let's say her name is anne and she smells like candy. then that helps put pieces of the puzzles together. well it doesn't work 100% of course. there are other factors that makes your memory poor -- like if you're hungry, then that doesn't help. or if you're on drugs etc.

Think of someone the person looks like, or associate them with a time and place that you'll remember. If you still can't remember, ask somebody else, and you'll probably remember then.
Try repeating their name to yourself a few times keeping in mind the association made with that person.
It helps! I learned over 100 names that way.

well if you pick aword or color something that helps you remember you will
like lets say you meet jack bibianno think jack and the bean stalk and baby bib things like that or if you know some one with the same name first or last try to remember or if there is somethink colorful or different about the person put that in your mind with the name
that as a referance it is hard to remember names and pronouning them can be tricky too but word assoiation is best

I never forget a face, but I can be terrible with names.
Usually when I'm introduced to someone, I've forgotten their name by the end of the day. And then I have to ask someone else that person's name, sometimes repeatedly.
So I try to repeat (silently, in my mind) their name over and over again and do word association with who they are. It doesn't always work :-(
