I think that is a great name..after all then you can call him (or her) Ace for short. I mean..come on...who wouldn't like the name 'Ace". (Hope nobody calls them an acehole though..that would suck.)

On what world. Do you even know what that is? How can you even consider naming a person for a substance on a Sprite bottle? Some cultures believe that you what you name your child will determine who they become. Besides, do you want your child to have to fight every day because of incessant teasing. Everyone knows how cruel children can be. Why put your child through something like that?

Never ever label a child with a ridiculous name. Don't forget it will have to bear the stigma for the rest of it's life. You won't. Also don't ever consider 'fashionable' names like Courtney or Kylie or Brad and contrived names like Chivenchy etc. A name is for life. How on earth all the Moon Units and Fifi Trixibelles are going to cope is anybody's guess.

no, I think it's a ridiculous name for a child, but that's the beauty of being a parent, you get to pick regardless of what anyone else thinks...just remember, whatever you choose that child is going to have to live with until he or she is old enough to legally change it.
