I was asking because my boyfriend picks his nose NONSTOP and it annoys the hell out of me and he HAS to do it. So I don't appreciate the asshole answers. and since I don't pick mine except when I have a cold, yea, what happens to them?

Erk...they migrate onto your pillow in the middle of the night and crawl into your ears....booooyaaaah!!!

They build up blocking you nasil passages and possibly you might sneeze so that your body clears the passages so you can breathe easier

(they really melt and you swallow them without even knowing. you swallow like a liter per day or something like that.)
