I usually get my hair trimmed while it is still wet. But once when I went to a salon they said its better to trim once the hair is dry. Which is best for the hair?

I've had it done both ways. I think it depends on the person, your type of hair (i.e. ethnicity), etc. When I had it cut dry, it was a much better cut. Very precise. When I had it cut wet, it's always a bit uneven when it dries. The best thing to do is find one hairdresser who does it best and stick with them. Don't worry if it's cut wet or dry. Good luck!

always trim it when it's still wet. i have never been to a salon where they trim it dry.
i think it is easier to get a straight cut when it's wet, because when it's dry there could be flyaway hairs that are missed.

I've been to salons where they wash it first and barbers that simply spray it with some solution.
