In order to help, one is going to need any and all information you can provide. Here is a list of questions one would need to get started (If finding your birth parent is what you have in mind):

1) date of birth?
2) Name of Hospital you were born?
3) Name of City and state your were born in?
4) What agency handled your adoption or was it a private party.?
5) Did you get any non identifying information about your parents?
6) Some states have original birth certificate available to the adopted child after the age of 21. Do you live in one of these states?
7) Do you already know the name of your birth mother?
