yeah, they make them that way on purpose, you know...
honestly, do you know how ignorant this question makes you seem? all public school districts have strict guidelines about what they HAVE TO serve to you and very LITTLE funding with which to do it. your parents b*tch and moan about high taxes, then you go to school and b*tch and moan about not having high quality food... see the catch 22? if schools were to serve you the food you wanted and think that you DESERVE, then taxes would skyrocket... bsw, if you don't like it, pack your own lunch... does someone have a gun to your head forcing you to eat it?
grow up.

Yes, I used to get sick from them. One day I was passing through the cafeteria on my way to 2nd period and they had the tuna casserole already made. No wonder it always had that gross crust on top. In high school, I wouldn't eat lunch or I'd bring lunch because it was so bad. The salad was wilty, the food burned or tasteless, and the only line you really knew what you were getting was the nachos and milkshakes. Like that is a nutritious lunch....

I got sick just once, it was Christmas time and the school cooked a special lunch for Christmas. However, as my religion did not allow me to celebrate Christmas I was not allowed to join in with that school meal, instead I got an alternative, pork with mashed potatoes and vegetables. I was so sick by the time I got home that I threw up all over my chest of drawers, my mum was not very impressed but when she realised I had food poisoning she was not very happy with the school.

I get a school lunch maybe 3 times a year and 2/3 times i get sick. It's one of those things where you actually forget how bad it tastes and then think ohh why not lets try it again and then once you eat it you remember why you avoid school lunches.

Yes, I have gotten sick from school lunches but if you don't bring a lunch to school your stuck eating smelly, gross hot lunches. My advice bring cold lunches to school that way you don't have to worry about getting sick from it.

Yeah and they're great nutritional experts too...pfffft...
I got served a luch once at school that consisted of Macaroni and Cheese and cucumbers. They forced me to eat all of it and because I made faces and complained about it they paddled me. That night I went home and threw up for 2 hours. yellow and green puke. Needless to say I can't eat cucumbers anymore, and I'm not all that excited about mac and cheese either.

Yes. Standards for school lunches plummeted when Regan was president. I believe it started when he proclaimed ketchup as a vegetable.

I can remember two times I got sick off school food. One was in high school. It was their fries with ketchup. Haven't dipped fries in ketchup since then. The other time was in college. I think they undercooked their lasagna.
