I have known this girl for about a month now because I met her in driver's ed. She is really nice to me and we talk a lot and laugh and generally have fun. She is homeschooled while I go to a different school. I never told her I really liked her until the other day my friends (that happened to be girls) called her and asked her to come over to the party at my house. She hung up on them and the next day I gave her a letter that explained how I liked her a lot and I was sorry about my friends calling her. She blushed really bad when I handed the note to her. I have seen her give another guy give her number but she doesn't have a boyfriend and I talked to that guy and said he was just "messin with her". How can I tell if she likes me and if she is interested in going out with me.

Ask her to go to a movie with you. Ask her to go for a walk downtown some time. There are many things you can do to see if she likes you without asking her out. I just gave you two examples (feel free to use them too). Just do friendly things with her and if you get the impression that she likes you back then ask her out.

Always, be up front and honest. You don't have to make a commitment the minute you find someone you find attractive.
During your life time you will find lots of people who seem like someone you would like to know better.
Tell this young lady that you really enjoy her company and hope that she feels the same about you. Tell her you would like to be her friend, and not necessarily that special "girl friend", but just friends so you can feel comfortable talking with her in person and on the phone. If a special friendship happens that's great, but in any event you will make a friend for life and that's more important anyway.
We all need someone to help us get through the difficult events in our lives and you have a lot of difficult events coming up in the next several years.

I believe that communication is the key. Don't make assumptions, leave nothing to chance. You'll never really know until you talk to her. Tell her how you feel and ask her how she feels. Just be prepared for the reality that she might not feel the same way about you that you do about her. But that's OK. You can still be friends and you don't have to change your position or feelings in order to respect hers.

Well, if she got jealous that you had over girls at your house. That's a sure fire sign that she likes you. But now she thinks your some kind of wanna be gigolo. No matter what you wrote in the note.

I bet she's still interested though.

Give her some time to see what she says and when the moments right and you guys are both silent ask her so what do you think about the letter I wrote...Don't pressure her though...Just continue being friends and if you guys are meant to be the feelings will follow.....

wow, that's really sweat. You don't see it but if she didn't like you she probably wouldn't of started blushing when you handed her the note. If she's the girl you want, and your sure she is the only one for you, go to her. If she likes you she'll come to. Good luck.
