I think it's wierd that people give text reverence. What is the big deal about something being in a book? That's like saying a movie is the word of God, or a new pop song is the word of God. It's just ink on paper, and anyone could put anything down.

If 2000 years matters, then Paganism matters more, because it's older. Dorks.

Many educated people once thought that the earth was flat as in the days of Columbus. The Bible writer Isaiah knew the the earth was round. How did he know that? Because he was informed of that fact by God himself.
Isaiah 40:22 __"It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in."

There are way too many Scriptures to prove the accuracy of the Bible. --too many to list here. Many scientists do not believe in God so how reliable are they?

I think the bible is evidence for God, and I think all scripture will always stand strong against any true scientific reasoning or evidence brought up against it. If you can truly prove the bible wrong with your science, then fine. By all means prove me and the rest of the Christian society wrong, if you can. But God won't allow it, because His word was written by the power of the Holy Spirit himself. The bible is the Word of God, and it can't be wrong. God gave us His word so that people could realize the truth and could receive free salvation. God wouldn't allow his word to be proven wrong, because then humanity would have no way of obtaining salvation from their sins. Science has only proven the bible more and more true on several occasions. People who've tried to prove the bible isn't true came to the conclusion that this book had to be true. So i'll stand up for God and for the Bible no matter what people or science say about it. Till the day i die and live anew with God in glory.

I think that biblical quotes stand up WITH scientific evidence. Science and Christianity do not contridict each other. I recently did a highschool report on how i think that we can prove the bible is the true word of God. I love science and anyone who knows anything about it should know that it goes along with Christianity. From the age of the earth to the big bang, it all goes along with christianity.

I agree with what you say. I can't believe in scientific books without trying the research myself. I do not have the research ability so I have to "believe" in what "they" say without "questioning" it. I see a minute amount of the facts that "they" call fact. I feel the same about religious books. I learn from both and "see" what I can from both. I believe in God and I believe in Science. One day I'd like to see Religion and Science come into agreement with each other. And call it Life. Peace and Love

The Bible has been tried for centuries and it still remains true dispute technology and science. Science even helps to prove the existence of God more now than ever and at the same disproves evolution more.

No
If you take the Bible and put it out in the wind and the rain, soon the paper on which the words are printed will disintegrate and the words will be gone.

#1 No, zero evidence. #2 bible quotes are at best good folk wisdom; and as such have nothing to do with science.
