Personally, I find boxing to be a lot more entertaining. In UFC the fighters spend a lot of time on the canvas where it can sometimes be hard to get a good angle to see what's happening, and a lot of times they're just in holds where nothing happens at all.

The best thing about boxing is they don't just have contracted fighters. Anyhow can get a one-time shot for a tv spot, which makes it much more exciting.

I really doubt boxing will be phased off of cable television. I know way too many people who enjoy watching it and the latino fans that I know are particularly enthusiastic about the sport.

I don't think UFC will ever replace boxing because they are two totally different things. I personally love UFC but I will also sit down and watch a good fight too just as long as it's not Tyson. I think they take different skills to do both but they are both very entertaining.

I don't believe so, but I believe MMA will definitely become more popular. There will always be die hard boxing fans. Watching boxing = me trying to fall asleep.

ufc and boxing are 2 totally different things.. not even comparable..

both enjoyable in their ways.. but, not 'interchangable'.. if they ever
had inter-sport fights, the differences would be obvious..

Ultimate Fighting blows....There's no artistry to it, just a bunch of animals in a "octagon"...Might as well go see a cockfight or a dog fight.....
