Satan is alive and well on the planet Earth. His time is getting short and he wants to take as many with him as he can.
You hit the nail on the head. WHY do people attack and hate the Jews and the Christians. They don't turn their attention to other groups. Why?
Satan knows which ones belong to God. Don't waste your time with the people harassing you. Focus on the ones that want to be God's children. Shake the dust off your sandals with the other ones and move on.
Time is growing short.
and one day, ever knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all.

I think that perhaps you should take a closer look around before you start claiming that. All beliefs are attacked, just so you know. Mine, yours, everyones. Why do you need to justify the 'pain' you feel about it by complaining about it in a large public forum? What does that accomplish?
Can I like how you indirectly attack people who don't follow 'faith' in your question. Can you not see how you do the same exact thing?
I don't have much sympathy for people who complain like this. You don't want to hear it? Then don't come to forums like this, because your belief system is going to come up for debate at some point. You have to be able to handle it. Also, why not just turn the other cheek and be happy that you have found something that has brought you such joy? Why nit-pick on the little things?
You don't need to justify the way you feel. All you need to do, is focus on being happy and productive in life. Don't worry about the small things, and for all that is good and holy - don't come bitching about people 'attacking' you. It's no worse then what other religions and other schools of thought get.

Ok. 2 Questions for a christian!
Was Christ a christian if he was THE christ.
and Was the ploy to have the Christains faith preserved for this long to say that god is the god of all people?
I figure anyway, that maybe it is possible because, if you were told your god was the god of all people, wouln'nt you be less likely to ever stray? And would'nt you have the upper hand when another religious person of a different faith came to discuss with you, and your whole argument was that 'no, your wrong, god is the only god and over all people'?
To me this is a narrow minded way to view america and its peolpe. How would the christian know their right besides what they been told all their life.
I don't understand why they are so one sided about it and swear up and down they are absolutely right.
I am in no way knocking your faith or religion, only the part where it tries to say its god is the god of all people.
How can such a religious people overlook the gods of other faith and yet know of them, and go to thier people and say 'this is what i've always been told, so you must believe it or i can't save you, and if you believe, then you'll see why your religion is just wrong to the earth"
The president can never acknowledge his religion as christian because if he did, he would admit to the assimilation of all immigants knowing fully well that the subjects of his reign would devour his immigrants with christian doctrine"
All nations have their beliefs. It is one thing for christains to believe god, but they need to start realizing the colors of skin and the other religions of the world. The yellow man, in china has his god, the black man of africa has his god, and the red man of the americas has his god. Christains need to quit being so bossy and insisstant that there god is the only, then they would truly be a spiritual people..

Other religions are CONSTANTLY ATTACKED!!! Usually by Christians!! Throughout history the things that have been done in the name of Christianity (The Crusades, etc.) have been HORRIFIC!! Before you call others persecutors, perhaps you should look in the mirror and think about the history of Christianity. I'm a Christian too, and I'm glad if religion has gotten you through hard times, but who is to say that anyone's religion is more right than anyone else's. In fact, if you were to study other religions you would see the AMAZING similarities in the lessons they ALL teach. In regards to your rant on faith, I am not sure what to say. ALL RELIGIONS REQUIRE FAITH. Christianity is the belief and study of Christ...we are trying to be Christ-like in our thoughts, words and deeds. I think if you, and ALL CHRISTIANS, truly opened your hearts, as Jesus did, you would have love and tolerance for all religions and people of the world. "Do onto others as you would have done to you". If you want tolerance and acceptance, you must first extend it to others.

Satan makes us a target, if man were to follow and believe in Jesus, Satan would not have anyone on his side, so he has to work double. Sometimes I think that we open the doors for those attacks, I know that not all are of the same strength in their faith. Sometimes I come on here and am dumbfounded of the obscene thing people say about Christianity. Sadly enough we are just human like everyone else. and Our Spirituality needs to be fed by the word of God. When we come here and are hurt by what people say, Satan has already served his purpose to discourage faithful Christians. And the seed of anger and doubt gets planted in out hearts.
We should not be offended, and should ignore comments that work against us.

I think everyone is tired of this problem. Unfortunately there are many people of the Christian faith who have hijacked the religion for their own self purposes and have made it their purpose in mixing religion with politics. This has caused the argument of Church and State to be raised in many areas. In addition, this hijacking has caused a "social war" among liberals and conservatives alike. Religion should be a private matter in which the individual shows love and respect to others, as well as tolerance. Jesus would have done the same.

Christians seem to often use this forum to attack non-believers of all sorts, especially Muslims, agnostics, and atheists, so you may just be seeing what you want to see.
Also, attacking beliefs is called criticism, and if yours can't take a little criticism, then your beliefs may not make much sense. Personal attacks and name-calling, though, seem to be common, and I would agree with you in condemning that. However, there is a definite tendency among religious people to feel that even neutrality on religious matters amounts to hostility against themselves personally. For example, not requiring children to recite Christian prayers to a Christian God in the public's schools is presented as somehow an attack on Christians, even though Christian children are still permitted to pray as they wish. The same freedom that permits you to believe as you wish permits others to criticize and reject those beliefs as they wish; you can not have one without the other.
It is also a little sad and pathetic to hear the "poor me" thing about "persecutors" from Christians, who have been in power in just about every government in western Europe and its former colonies for the last 1,700 years. It is nonsense. Christians in the US are not persecuted in any genuine sense of that word. (Read the Lives of the Saints if you need a refresher on what real persecution consists of.) You sound like you're just feeling sorry for yourself because you can't force people to believe what you do and can't force people to stop criticizing the things you believe. I can't imagine anyone being that touchy who has really put on "the whole armor of faith" that Paul talked about.

A long time ago I did. Not any more . If Our beliefs weren't true people wouldn't bother us with it but the demons behind these people know our belief IS true. So, think of these people like this, There's these two Angels sitting on their shouolders right? One is telling the person don't do this and don't do that. And the other is saying go ahead do this and do that it won't hurt you. So if you really think about it, we are actually choosing the way we want to think. There goes that little voice again. The two little fellas on your shoulders? One is an angel, the other a demon. Don't let these people bother you. They know they can't get to you unless you open doors for them.

If you never see anyone attacking the beliefs of others, you are blind. Just look at the religious questions posed on this site. If a non-Christian ventures an honest question, they are immediately attacked for their beliefs and called everything but human. I don't need you to apologize for your faith. Nor do I need you to apologize for the hypocrisy of others. I do expect you to spend some time talking to other faiths and see, truly see, how much you have in common in the case of prejudice. Jesus did not surround himself with fools, nor did he become one.

I do get tired of it, but I agree with Bonnie. I do see other religions getting attacked, and yes, Christians are just as guilty of it as anyone else. Some people seem to forget that we have the freedom to choose our own paths, and those people are the ones who feel the need to bash. I am sure others here get tired of seeing their choices bashed too.
I DO agree though that my faith is my faith and I really don't have an obligation to defend it as it is my freedom of choice. I will gladly answer questions to the best of my ability, but as you pointed out, there is no proof in faith that will satisfy the ones who are looking for concrete proof.
