Well when I calmed down I realised there was more to life than parenthood. I am free to go on holiday any time I choose and be able to relax and enjoy myself, not run around chasing after children all day with a bottle of sunblock stuck in my hand.
I get a full night's unbroken sleep
I can have that successful career I always dreamed of.
I can be spontaneous and have a night out without trying to find a babysitter.
I have windows and wallpaper that aren't covered in chocolatey handprints.
When I feel broody I go visit my godson, and give him all my kisses and hugs.
I got myself a dog and lavish all my affection on him and my cat. It never really gets easier, but you find different ways of coping and for me that is listing the reasons why I am better off. Not that I want to be. But sometimes we just don't have a say in it and you have to look for the good side.

because of medical problems I had to have a hysterectomy when I was 28. The only thing I ever wanted was to be a mom and that got taken away. I have times am ok and other times I still sit and cry. Was single at the time am happily married now and have been for 15 years. I think if I could ask God one question that would be the one for me. I know all things happen for a reason but that one stung. I love one others kids as much as I can. I still even after all this time don't like to go in the children's department. if u wanna talk more plz email me sshhorty2@yahoo.com
God bless u

I have been married 24 years, when I first realized that we were not going to be parents I was devastated, but my spouse was fine with it.
Later I realized that ( now this is extremely important and the cruz of the matter) if there is no soul out there who has any kind of give and take karma with you of immense intensity then you must consider yourself lucky one coz that means you can reduce your burden of karmas in this lifetime. Remeber, we have to leave all behind when we die, so how does it matter what, who and how much we have. Focus on the life you have and try to be peaceful with yourself. If there is any soul with whom you'll have your karmas ripened with then that soul will descend upon you.

I have adamantly vowed to never have children. The best way to get over regret over not being able to have children is to vow to live for yourself. You can be the child in your life! Plus, it helps if you make a goal not to die.

I don't know what the big deal is about having kids. Sure sometimes their cute, but most of the times their little brats that grow up to hate you and don't believe anything that you believe in. :P
