First let me say how sorry I am about your losing your loved one.
Now to try to answer your question as best I can. It's not been very long since you lost your loved one and you are trying to hard to remember your dreams. They will come to you after awhile and you will start to remember them then but please don't think that there's anything wrong that you're unable to remember them right now.
Yes, maybe your loved one is trying to let you know not to worry about him and you're trying to hard to remember what you dreamed about so just dream and let it all come to you when you are emotionally ready for them to be remembered.
If you strain yourself by trying to remember what you dreamed about it could cause you more pain than necessary and you have enough emotional problems dealing with his death as it is.
A dear friend of mine has and is still going through what you are going through now and she still can't remember every dream that she has had but is finally able to remember some of them now.
Beat wishes to you for your love and your future.

My dad passed away 11 years ago. I couldn't remember my dreams for years after that, it seems. They came back, but it was a slow process.

The problem is that you have soooooo much running through your head right now, your mind isn't clear enough to remember the dreams. You might think about trying yoga. That might get you relaxed enough, or at least get you on your way there. I don't know.

No disrespect to damian, but I do believe we get visits via dreams. The loss of my father blocked out my dreams, but 10 years before, my mother came to me the very night she died. I was only 18 then and so distraught, I thought I was going to die, too. But she came to me that night, reassuring me that everything would be ok. I never saw her face, not once. Just my own tear-stained face and her hand, gently running along my jaw. damian (and anyone else) can quote whatever scripture they want, my mind will never change. It was her.

I've never lost a fiance, but I've buried both parents. One thing I learned is that you need to let yourself feel the pain. Ignoring it only makes the wound fester. Embrace the pain and then put it behind you when you're ready to.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I hope your dreams return soon. Take care.

The Bible says that all who die are resting until Jesus comes again, that is why there will be a resurrection and the dead in christ will rise first, if they were already in heaven or hell why would they need to be resurrected, for that matter why would Jesus have to come he would just wait till you die. You should seek the Bible truth and let Jesus guide your life.

Your reaction, lack of (remembering) your dreams...seems this would be quite normal, a reaction to trauma, but don't despair.

First, always be gentle with yourself, and patient; second, give yourself suggestions every night before you fall asleep: "I recall my dreams...my healing thrives there..."

I invite you to consider that he is with you...consider that possibility, for perhaps your asking is his way of guiding you to indeed, "...see his beautiful face one more time..."

Peace and light to you, always...
