Because they hate what they don't understand. They try to find excuses for why it is wrong like "The Bible says this..." or "It is is not natural..."
Both are just excuses for bigotry. The Bible says to love each other and there are thousands of wild animals that are gay.

For the same reason that interracial marriage was unnaccepted for so many years (sadly some still find it wrong) People were raised certain ways believeing certain things were right and wrong. My parents never said one way or the other, I have no problem with gay people. I like men, and gay men like men; so to me that means we have something in common. People fear and mock what they don't understand. I have a son and if he tells me he is gay someday, I will love him and accept him with out missing a beat. It doesn't change who he is. A lot of society is closed minded and want to stay in their comfort zone. I think it will just take time, like any other predjustice we have overcome in this country.

Honestly, people answer by saying "its wrong and they should go to hell!!!" But you cant really help on who you are attracted too. I mean if you have strong feelings for the same sex then everyone should know about it just like how opposite sex show it in public. I think its cool that people are gay, I never judge people because I dont want someone that I dont know want to judge me on my sex status. I am straight though, and I like it when a guy is gay because we have so much in common. We can go look for guys sometime...what do you think?

I think it's the whole fear what you do not understand. I personally accept gay people and feel it fine go out and find that love dude. Also, I'm straight and married.

because as human beings we are born tolerant but by time our parents get done with us we are yusually messed up in some way, thats why we stillthink "******" even if we dont say it. these arae things that indicate fear, i wuld rathe ryou jus t not mesas with me than to have you to teach me the right wat=y ,people are bundlesw of fear, if u=your dad says gay gutys will wanat to f--- you then if youare not gay then it causes fear and that is one thing we dont admit, if you area gay then dont worry aabout ohters just do you, no body else can live your life.. i was born alone and ill die alone so damn them if they diont appriove

Your pic even looks gay. It's "unnatural" not to mention, down right sickening for 2 guys to be together...which is why God made AIDS.

Because of ignorance. And they dont understand what they dont know. Change is scary to alot of people...and to accept means they would have to change the way they think.

because it's really unnatural to see two men or women dating but me i don't have a problem with it i would'nt let people judge me cuz i'm gay or bi or lesbian i just be me and be thankful for who i am

not for me gay people make wonderful friends. i had couple in job corps. they were always there for me and i never had to worry about them hitting on me
