You've got a man right there who has proven he wants to stick by your side. That's a good thing. You can't control your mean-spirited aunt (shame on her) or his mother, so all you can do is be yourself and hope that his mother will see what a cad your aunt is. Don't say nasty things back about your aunt. Take the high road. The truth usually reveals itself and when it does, your aunt will look like such a jerk. If he's serious about standing by your side, he'll be there and you can try to spend more time with his mom (perhaps while he's there to make sure she's nice). If you do, she'll probably see what a lovely person you are and have no reason to dislike you. If not, her loss. Good luck.

If you love the guy, don't let the mom come between you. I would confront your aunt, and ask her why she is saying these things about you.
I would just try and get on the mom's good side, and have your bf put in a good word for you. Just be respectifu, she will come around.

Well dont do anything. Continue on being who and what you are. You cannot stop your aunt from lying but by your words and actions you can show without having to confront her that her words and what she says about you are lies and not worthy of notice. Time might change how your boyfriend's mother feels about you but then again it might not. If you are not what your aunt is saying you are time alone will show all your true nature.

Your boyfriend is right. His mom shouldn't keep you guys apart and obviously he isn't letting her get in his way. I would try to talk to her and explain that your aunt is lying to her and that you and your aunt do not get along. If she doesn't listen to you, ignore her! She can try to break you guys up all she wants, but in the end if you love each other you will win and she'll just end up looking stupid.

If you love each other it should not matter what other people say. and his mom is just going to have to get over it. As for your aunt is she's married call her husband or boyfriend and tell him you saw her with another man. make her life miserable

My boyfriends mother and I don't get along sometimes and we have been together for 7 years. He says don't worry about his mother. He tells me that he is not with me to please his mother. Let him control his mother. If for some reason he can't. Then get out of the relationship. He should keep the peace between you both. My boyfriend is keeping the peace between us.

i would tell you not to believe her. you should talk to your boyfriend about what HE wants. if he wants to be with you, you both should confide in each other and be honest and true to each other. when you do that, it wouldnt matter who says what cause you know that its gonna work. if you both love each other, then you both wouldnt care what people would say. follow your heart and instincts. good luck...
