I've heard Buicks are very quiet cars.

But from personal experience, I can say that my Volvo S60 was probably the quietest car I've ever been in. The car was double and triple sealed everywhere. With the windows closed almost no wind noise came into the cabin. It was much better soundproofed than my Infiniti is. And you can get the S60 at well below $35K, unless you go for the performance models or every available option.

My mother just bought a toyota prius. I dont like the way it looks, but it is so quiet, you can't even tell it is turned on. And when you drive its so quiet. The really good thing about it is it is great on gas since it's a hybrid.

The Toyota Prius, i have one and it is literally silent on highways and in cities. It is really cheap, going at around $21,725 MSRP. I bought mine for $23,500 at my local car dealer.

The previous poster is correct, the Prius runs silent since it is often running on the electrical system, but I would not recommend it to Hitler, Prius is most likely the biggest FRAUD in automotive HISTORY! :(

Look elsewhere!
