When my son was teething I had a real hard time too. What I had done was take some if his baby wash cloths got them wet, twisted them and formed them into a circle (kind of like a teething ring)and placed them in the freezer. (just make sure the wash cloth doesn't totally freeze just alittle firm). Just take it day by day you'll get through it and maybe call your childs doctor maybe they can recommend something.

There are several things that might help. Freeze a damp facecloth and let the child chew on that. This one sounds gross but it helps- let the child chew on a large rawhide bone like the ones for dogs. Last but not least, to help both of you- pour a shot of whiskey, dip your finger in the shot then rub on baby's gums, drink the shot.
Good luck.

You should never give a baby alcohol or honey. Honey can contain botulism and babies under one year old can get very sick from eating it. Always supervise your child if you give him/her a frozen piece of food because pieces can break off and cause the baby to choke. I always used refrigerated, not frozen, teething rings or baby orejel.

Okay old world remedy coming. Don't get upset! This works. Dip your finger in whiskey and rub the baby's gums. It helps. Don't say it is wrong, people have been doing it since alcohol has been invented!
