Honey, do not listen to any of these a*sholes that are sassing off to you. I would take your puppy in a heartbeat, but I'm in Minnesota... I wish you the best of luck and I know that you will find an absolutely wonderful and loving home, my thoughts are with you- I know how much animals can truly mean!!!

Sorry... i would but I can't. I have a bylaw where I live, and you can only have legally 2 dogs per household... and I already have 2 dogs... also I live pretty far away.... sorry. (i hope you find someone though) you are in a horrible situation. Too bad you couldn't just move, but that is really difficult, and probably not an option. (when your dog does get adopted though, you should get a small breed, or a couple of cats!!!! ) (for company, I couldn't imagine living without animals in the house)

I am guessing you already have done this, but try talking with your managers. Sometimes it is possible to stretch the rules in apartment complexes when it comes to weight. Chances are that if they already allow dogs, then some tennents probably own dogs that weigh over 30pounds.

Also, try talking to your doctor about getting a note saying you need the dog because your depressed or somthing.. it worked for a friend of mine.

Give her to a golden retriever rescue. Contact some of the dog clubs in your area or get in touch with Petco they are familiar with the rescue groups, and potential owners are screened. You have to be carefull of giving her away to just anybody. Theres some real horror stories out there. So please check out some rescue groups.

Try listing her with a no kill shelter. Some shelters aren't kennel based and will put them into a network of foster care people. You can probably find one at http://www.petfinder.com You can also try listing her at craigslist. I would recommend the shelter because they will do a background check.

Did you think about your pet policy before you got the dog? Or did you check the pet policy before you moved? Sounds like a way out to me.

You didn't tell anyone what kind of dog it is? Nor did you tell how much it weighs.
