Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. La 3:23 - They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
La 3:32 -Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. for me HE is great in counsel. and mighty in work. i can go on but there is not enough place in the whole satlite the whole of the world and the universe.

Man is a Religious Animal. He is the only Religious Animal. He is the only animal that has the True Religion--several of them. He is the only animal that loves his neighbor as himself and cuts his throat if his theology isn't straight. He has made a graveyard of the globe in trying his honest best to smooth his brother's path to happiness and heaven....The higher animals have no religion. And we are told that they are going to be left out in the Hereafter. I wonder why? It seems questionable taste.

He is as great as you want him to be, since he is a man made myth, that was carried around the desert in a box(arc of the covenant) or hundreds of years, imagine he's grown quite a bit in legend since then.
