Here is another good site that covers the requirement to carry a pet into Mexico from the US.
If you fly, you will have to check with the airlines in advance.
There are some restriction on the number of dogs than can be carried as "carry on"
Your vet will probable have the health certificate for Mexico, check with them before you order one on line.
Hope this helps.

Depending on where you are going you can take your dogs. If your hotel allows you to bring them I recommend you check up on that area for any reported rabies cases. Also make sure you vaccinate, deworm and flea treat your dogs before and after you go (vaccinate only if not done recently, your vet will tell you if it needs doing). Another good thing to do is before and after you go put electrolytes in their water this will help them maitain a better internal balance during the stress that travel can cause. If your dog seems like the nervous type you can pick up some Bach Rescue Remedy and put that in their water as well, you can get that at your local heath food store and some vets do carry it. Have a nice trip.

You should call the airline to see what all you have to have in order to take them. You might need vet papers stating that they have been vaccinated but even then some places will quarantine the animals for a couple of days to make sure there are no diseases. So maybe even talk to your vet and they might be able to give you more info on that.

Main thing is to check with the airline that you are flying on to see if they have restrictions as well as the hotel that you are staying at.

Places that you can take pets. As long as you can put the carrier under your chair, with a fee included. I would check with the airline first though.
