How can one 'spirit' in the sky watch over every person on this planet? I myself am an athiest and I don't quite understand how. Maybe devoted Christians can explain to me. Also, I'm looking for an answer that has some meaning.

People treat God as one spirit, how can he be everywhere as different spirits. If he was, wouldn't we call it Gods?

I too am an atheist for want of a better word - but I suppose most religious types would answer your question by saying that you don't understand what it is to be Omnipotent, your thinking about god in the same way you are man, he doesn't have or need eyes, he is that all encompassing everything, that ethereal shroud engulfing humanity with his loving arms. or some other BS along those lines. Sometimes you really have to give it up to those christian folk, they have a way of weaseling their way out of every argument just by referring to the bible, it's a completely circular logic.

I'm a Christian, so I'm seeing this from a Christian perspective. According to the New testament, God fills the entire universe; He is everywhere. He is also spirit and isn't restricted to a body. Note: I'm talking about God the Father, not Jesus. So, God really doesn't have eyes becuase He's everywhere in spirit.

i was just wondering if your an athiest and don't believe in God why you ask questions about him? maybe deep down in your heart you know their really is a God that's why you ask questions about him. God is everywhere whole and entire as he is in any one place. its hard for the human mind to understand that. we cant see God because he is a pure spirit and cannot be seen with bodily eyes. we call God a pure spirit because he has no body. our soul is a spirit, but not a pure spirit because it was created for union with our body. our eyes were created to see only material things, God is spiritual that's why we cant see him. God sees us and watches over us, without his constant care we could not exist. God is all just, all holy, all merciful and infinitely perfect. when we say God is infinitely perfect we mean there is no limit or bounds to his perfection, for he possesses all good quality's in the highest possible degree and he alone is infinitely perfect. im a christian and God spared me when i tried to kill myself 6 years ago. im so glad he did because now i have a wonderful husband and beautiful daughter. i really dont understand how people dont believe in God, this isnt our only life here on earth, wouldnt it suck if it really was, i mean think about it, i mean we'd be born and then die and its the end of us. there is life after our physical death and we will spend it in one of 2 places and i know mine will be in heaven. when my grandma was dying she could see Jesus, she said Jesus came to take her home then she closed her eyes and went to heaven with Jesus. It was amazing. i know 100% without a doubt there is a God. how would you explain peoples prayers being answered or miracles if there was no God? really think about all ive said. I hope you find God, the bible says if you seek him you will find him and you can have a personal relationship with him.

Eris, the biggest dwarf planet primary, became discovered in an ongoing survey at Palomar Observatory's Samuel Oschin telescope by ability of astronomers Mike Brown (Caltech), Chad Trujillo (Gemini Observatory), and David Rabinowitz (Yale college). We formally suggested the call on 6 September 2006, and it became customary and introduced on 13 September 2006.

God is everywhere, he created the earth, and everything in it. Also, if you believe in the bible then I believe it says that God holds the world in his hands, therefore he wouldn't have to have eyes, plus God is not a human, and we sometimes can not understand the intricacies of such a wonderful God.. also look into talking to a priest or a pastor or minister ect. I hope I helped you! :) have a happy Jesus day!

I am neither a devoted christian nor GOD. But try to distinguish between seeing(watching) and looking.Seeing is associated with your sensory organ called eye but looking is associated with your mind. First ,try to know what mind is and then understand the process of looking (whether inward or outward).Mind is not the one you derive from the explanations given by the socalled phsycologists. A fter knowing that you can shoot out another question.

It's not eyes that you must think about, it is perception. We perceive and acknowledge many things that happen to us each and every day. We see and know co-workers, we see and know family, we see and know strangers. The same can be said of God. We are limited in our abilities because we are only human. It is my belief that once we gain our spiritual form, all things will be clearer to us. We will be able to acknowledge our entire families, friends we know, acquaintances, and the things that happen in their lives. However, being in physical form, limited by the rules of humanity, materialism, and science, we are unable to totally comprehend all of the lives that we are connected to at the same time. God can because He is the most supreme of spiritual beings. He is the Creator of all beings and has a way of tapping into every single life, all the time. It would make sense that He has that ability as He was there as you were formed inside your mother's womb. He is invested in every life and therefore, He can tap into everyone all the time.

I am no aetheist but I cannot agree with the bible. I think we were given the gift of reason for a reason. If we were all created as puppet slaves why would we have been created? I don't think god watches all of us, he doesn't have to. But yes I still believe there is a god but even more so I believe that the god people worship is not our creater that god was created, in the image of government.

It is not about God actually looking down with eyes.....he is not in the image of a human, God is a spirit and his presence is always with us. The SPIRIT of God is there during your every move. God's spirit is with everyone,it spreads and covers everyone who is in need of it.

Maybe not 6 billion eyes, rather perhaps just one very very big eye.
When it comes to the existence or not of god, I have a open mind.
