Have a think - yeh you got it! Goodbye

If you think she doesn't care just because she hasn't said anything about you not eating yet today you have more serious problems than starving yourself to see if she'll notice. It's time you sat down with your mom for a heart to heart and tell her how you're feeling and what she does or doesn't do to make you feel that way. She probably doesn't even know that you're feeling this way and how could she if you don't tell her. Most parents just assume their kid is going through a phase, that's what we're taught to think. So tell her how you're feeling. Be prepared to make some changes of your own though if you want her to make changes. Fair is fair and without give & take you get left with someone doing all the taking and someone else doing all the giving.

Maybe she didn't notice it. She might be really busy. But why haven't you eaten all day? That's not healthy! You should be eating!Of you are doing it to catch her attention, let me tell you, its not a good way, cause she might be thinkg you are eating in your room... cause if you normally eat, her mind isn't thiking if you are eating or not. If you have a eating disorder, than she might notice, but only later, when the changes affect your body. Unless you walk up to her and say you didn't have anything to eat the entire day, she will get worried of course! But if not it's natural since you are older that she doesn't think much about it.

Obviously if you're old enough to be on a computer, then you're old enough to prepare your own lunch. She probably doesn't care because she thinks you're completely capable of making your own food. So if your hungry get off the computer and make some lunch. It doesn't take a genius to figure out how to make PB and J, deli sandwich, or open a can of Chef Boyardee and pop it in the microwave!!

It sounds like you are not eatting to get attention from your mom. I bet your mom isn't giving you attention for this because she doesn't want to reenforce this unhealthy behavior.

Eat something. Try getting the attention you are looking for in a more positive way.

Does she know you haven't eaten anything? Are you old enough to make your own food?

Your mom cares, it is in the job description! I don't know how old you are, but if it is old enough to not eat, and measure your moms response, then you are old enough to go your mom, and talk with her about what is REALLY eating at you!

Why can't you feed yourself? Are you asking for attention from your mother? Maybe she's busy doing her own thing and hasn't realised that you haven't had your food yet.

Are you using this hunger strike to get your mom's attention? It's not working. Go get yourself something to eat.
