i married a man from africa, he passed away back in africa from cancer, the problem is that my inlaws promised me his death certificate but they never gave it to me they keep giving me the run around i tried the embassy and the consulate and i also get the run around.now im not sure what to do. i am stuck married to a dead man.

yes he's dead i was there. right now i don't have money to travel back there i spent every penny we had saved on medical bills while in africa we had to pay everything out of our pockets im just starting to get back on my feet.

Africa is a continent, not a country, and there is no "African" place to get a death certificate from.
If you were there when he died, wherever that was, why did you not get a death certificate then and there?
Unfortunately, in many African countries, you can't get anywhere without greasing palms. And in some areas, no one would know what a death certificate is.
You don't tell what country you are now in, either, so it's impossible to know what to tell you. If you are a citizen of the US, you can contact the US embassy in the African country, which might be able to help you.

go to africa and get certificate from the hospital where ur husband died
