I hear ya! That's all that we need to do - kind of follow the golden rule - and things would be so much better. (The golden rule is non-religious and non-denominational - I learned it in public school).

When history began with the writing of the bible and man put women under his thump that is when many wars began. If women were still in charge there would less wars. to answer your question. Hate is a very powerful feeling people can change an Idea but a believe is a whole other story once it has been embedded in people's minds for hundred's and thousand's of years.
to be kind to one an other is not in there vocabulary or is ending this hate filled war.only the fanatic's will keep this war going. As long as man exists there will be war that is the only thing these kind of people understand. nether side will give in it is more a matter principle now more then anything Elsa.

A winless battle??? Oh, but the battle has already been won by Jesus Christ!! 80 percent of mankind haven't realized that yet. They think there is still a battle, and its up to them to win. Jesus said this in Mat 10:34 Think not that I come to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. And why did He say that? because He knew beforehand, that people would soon forget that He said, "It is finished", as He hung on that cross, giving up the Spirit in death. Why can't mankind believe what He said???.... Luke 18:26-27 And they that heard it said, who then can be saved?? Then Jesus said, the things which are impossible with men are possible with God. And in the old testament God said, " I am a consuming fire" ! And God will consume us all by fire in love, because God ( Jesus ) is love.

The thing of it is that the world has been stuck in battle between good and evil since intelligent human beings were created (or evolved). The battle for souls will not end until Christ returns and all are sealed. Then those faithful followers will live in peace and harmony for eternity and those who have chosen to turn their back on God will have to suffer the consequences else where.

To get along with others, they have to want to get along with you. Therein lies the problem.

Human nature drives people to force their beliefs on others, to seek power over others, or gain wealth. It's true for individuals...it's also true for countries. Until you can change human nature (and lotsa luck with that), wars, just like individual arguments, will always be a part of the world.

We must put religion behind us and accept that we are all men, inseperable in our mortality. Don't blame Christianity either; never in the New Testament does it mention anything like jihad or holy war. The American Christians are just fighting to preserve a world in which their morals count, that's all.

As long as Satan is "ruler of this world" it is very difficult to show love and kindness to others, especially to those who persecute us. If we ask for God's spirit to help us to resist the devils tactics, he will provide it. We must put on "the complete suit of armor from God" in order to prevail. Satan and his demons will soon be done away with.

exactly. None of these issues that we fight over can be solved. Not by us, anyway. But, it's pride. Pride is the reason why the fighting will never stop.

That would take maturity on everyones part. Not hard at all but swallowing pride and showing kindness is a mature action.

Its not hard to get along with others it is just that people are arrogant and stupid. We all can have our own religions but we don't have to fight over them.
