Absolutely not! You are never too old to date. Go ahead and get back out there. Try to find nice women at places that you normally frequent. This way you are more likely to find someone with shared interests. If you go somewhere where you are uncomfortable in an attempt to find someone, you will end up not being able to be yourself, and you probably won't find the right girl. Also Internet dating is a good idea because you can get to know someone before you actually meet. You can feel more comfortable on the first date, and you can be sure that the person connects with you on an emotional level. It's scary, but getting started is probably .the hardest step, so just jump that hurdle and continue to run the race, not that I'm trying to rush you or anything.

Never to old. I turn 50 this next month and I'm dating. I just met someone online this last week. Figure out what type of person you are looking to me. Go to plentyoffish.com and this is a free site. If you have a picture it works that much faster to find someone. I have been dating this way for awhile. At least it is better then finding someone in a bar. Take your time and have fun.

you are never too old to start dating again. All you need is a makeover im sure... Go to the barber shop get a haircut and get your self some nice new clothes... then just find a frined or to and go out and have fun...
with all the expirience you have , it will never be a boring night. You will always have something to talk about... GOOD LUCK
If all fails try a dating service... think of all the fun you willl have!!!

you are never too old for any thing..try joining some clubs around your area..trying finding out what other people do when they socialise. now your daughters older itll be easier to get back into it. you did it all the right ways its bad enough for a woman being a single parent with children so i cant even imagine what it was like for you being a man especialy with a daughter so hats off to you for waiting for her to get her life first. well done and good luck and believe me when you start again you will enjoy it..

It's just like riding a bicycle......you never forget how. I think you certainly should go back out and date. Look at it this way.....there is a lady out there, looking for a good man just like you, and if you don't date again, she will never have the privilege of knowing you. You're 48....that's NOT old, just experienced! Good Luck.....give it a try!
