use that intelligence and strong back-bone, LOL, to work and build their own country like our ancestors did? They KNEW how to work hard, plowing fields with mules, growing their own produce, raising chickens, pigs, a goat or cow, sewed their own clothes, canned foods, chopped wood! Without any HANDOUTS from anyone. (There were no laws on immigration then, so don't suggest they were illegal, they weren't, they were immigrants, irrelevant) They had REAL work ETHICS! Maybe illegal immigrants need to be TAUGHT to grow PRODUCE or cut up a chicken!! LOL

enlightenment-I didn't GET any answers from illegals on the previous queston, all I heard was crickets.
Shep - That is not the problem of the legal U.S. taxpaying citizen. They should NOT illegally enter our country, abuse us, demand what is NOT theirs, claim land that is not theirs, claim they do jobs we won't do, when in fact we always have and always WILL do those jobs for the wage we are accustomed to, call us racists for wanting our laws enforced and sucking billions out of our economy. How greedy of THEM to think WE should support them! They need to get a REAL backbone and acquire some sensible work ethics, unite in their own country, protest and demand rights THERE. They could live there, there is water, soil there grows vegetables, they COULD make it, they just WON'T! "Why cook at home when you can go next door and get a free Smorgasbord!!" Right? They need to get the H--- out of the USA before the LEGAL citizens decide "no more nice guy"!!

David Beckha... You need to go take a nap little girl and let the adults discuss the solution to the problems OUR children are facing. Do yourself a favor, get an education, you need it.

David Beckha... You're only 14 with a 14 year old daughter and a 14 year old step-daughter? Hmm. You need to grow up, no matter how old you are.

If all the American people are hardworking how is it the new comers are still finding jobs...
legal and illegal..? why defend saying it wasnt illegal when you entered... the immigrants who entered then formed their own rules...probably the new immigrants entering now are trying to form their own rule :-)
It is so hard to imagine how difficult all these things are..I am neither an American nor an Anti American... just wondering how it is so easy for one set of people to make rules... I only wish there is one world with peace soon...
Update: I would like to tell you that you have a good question but it doesnt apply to illegals alone.
The whole process of immigration itself is quite complex.
I agree that every nation has the right to defend itself. But I also wish that every nation acts humanly.
Not only should the illegals but even people who are legally working should go back to their country and try to make their country a better place. But some often find easy ways to live on the hard work of others. Actually the people who are working legally as Doctors and engineers are causing much brain drain when they permanently migrate. But many governments welcome this kind of immigrants who are rich in wealth and knowledge. We cant balme the migrants. They think they are hard working and are looking ways to live better.
The soceity on the whole needs to answer these. Not only in the part of immigration. There will be a day when labour shall be open between countries. How will you protect yourself to particular income then?
The people who are migrating should also do something back to improve the condition of their own country and the country the live in now and that will be good.

you know there is no job an American wouldn't do. You probably read like I did the guy that posted the study that the labor paid, which is quite good to people that pick crops, has no bearing on the cost of food.
Now if you check you history, you'll find that Congress came into a bind when illegals were taking regular jobs, just like they do today, and tried to limit them to menial labor - we'll, it didn't work did it?
I know many many Americans with work ethics. I can tell you that insulting the people you want to get something from doesn't work. Or is that the Mexian way of doing business?
Again, we will not suspend our contsitution to accomodate you, or bend to the will of another country, no matter how many names or insults you can come up with.

yet Canada is often providing the artwork visas, in Mexico i have were given seen the help the Canadian Embassy grants to any those who desires to bypass to Canada for artwork. The diference is that you talk about, Mexico (my u . s .) is a u . s . which have not been waiting to strengthen the monetary kit, to strengthen our monetary kit on the rithm we would favor to, and there are not any more enougth jobs for each and all the mexicans. And the hollow betwen US wages, and Mexican wages are so massive, that strengthen the immigration. to boot Mexico is the bridge for most the immigrants that come from needed and South u . s . of u.s.. And the border is extense, so it make it more advantageous dificult to make it safeguard. So, for the US the real difficulty is the south border, that's as organic and organic, using very actuality the reality of the immigration is.

They don't want too.
It could be done--but people (not just them) have the wrong idea that you can just take what you want to better your life. And others cheer them on----others who are not losing anything-yet.
No mater how you look at it--it is wrong.
People need to work their own problems of living without putting their burden on others. It is a forgotten idea that should be brought back to light.
Many do it the right way and they have rewards that the others will never understand. It is the selfish who will not even try. And we have plenty!

I'll answer it again....as I did in your other question concerning the very same thing:
Let's see....where to begin....the pimary reason mexican's leave....is becase their country sucks.
Okay, lets start with the Mexican government:
It is considered one of the most corrupt governments in all of the world. Law enforcement in Mexico is a "for-profit" business as Mexican policemen take bribes from tourists and locals alike are a commonplace throughout the country.
Mexico's leaders have turned hypocrisy from an art form into an exact science as they shirk their obligations to fellow citizens, while decrying efforts by the US senators and representatives to crack down on illegal immigration at the border and the workplace
When oil revenues are excluded, Mexico raises the equivalent of only 9 percent of its gross domestic product in taxes - a figure roughly equivalent to that of Haiti and far below the level of major Latin American nations. Not only is Mexico's collection rate ridiculously low, its fiscal regime is riddled with loopholes and exemptions, giving rise to widespread evasion. Congress has rebuffed efforts to reform the system.
Insufficient revenues mean that Mexico spends relatively little on two key elements of social mobility: Education commands just 5.3 percent of its GDP and healthcare only 6.10 percent.
A venal, "come-back-tomorrow" bureaucracy explains the 58 days it takes to open a business in Mexico compared with three days in Canada, five days in the US, nine days in Jamaica, and 27 days in Chile. Mexico's private sector estimates that 34 percent of the firms in the country made "extra official" payments to functionaries and legislators in 2004. These bribes totaled $11.2 billion and equaled 12 percent of GDP.
Transparency International, a nongovernmental organization, placed Mexico in a tie with Ghana, Panama, Peru, and Turkey for 65th among 158 countries surveyed for corruption.
Economic competition is constrained by the presence of inefficient, overstaffed state oil and electricity monopolies, as well as a small number of private corporations - closely linked to government big shots - that control telecommunications, television, food processing, transportation, construction, and cement. Politicians who talk about, much less propose, trust-busting measures are as rare as a snowfall in the Sonoran Desert.
Is it any wonder that Mexicans turn to crime? Corruption is so rampant in their country that it's almost impossible to be honest and live, unless you're poor and don't matter. The honest ones leave — and come to America where they can live in peace, earn a decent living and not worry about a knock on the door.
Until the problem of the Mexican government is solved, little will impact the steady flow of immigrants crossing the border.
They're a lot like rats deserting a sinking ship, desperate to hang on to any flotsam that can carry them away from the madness.
(And before you ask, yes, I think illegal immigration is wrong.)

I agree with you 100%. They could do these things in their own countries but they choose to take the easy route - go to the USA illegally and get that free smorgasbord. In my mind, that alone makes them lazy. They take pride in being so hard working and willing to toil in the hot sun in backbreaking labour, etc. etc. but they are too lazy to stay home and fix their own countries.

Because their claims of being "good, honest, hard working, trying to make a better life, just supporting their families, etc, etc, ad nauseum, are totally false.
And this MR. nice guy left the building long ago.
I repeat, LEAVE MY COUNTRY! DO IT NOW! GET LEGAL OR GET GONE!!
