American General Life and Accident of Nashville, Tenn. (1-800-323-2103) When I called there I could not get an answer as a foreign language is used. I called (1-773-399-6500) I was given a new number by the operator (1-414-286-1500) Again I could not understand the person at the other end. Please help me in locating the company to contact on All American Insurance, Park Ridge, IL. Policy #4-L-10, dated Dec. 1, 1958, expiration date 12/1/2012 I would like to make a change in the beneficiary or cash it in. I E-mailed the Illinois Department of Insurance and they referred me back to American General Insurance Company, Houston. I'm right back where I started. Hope you can help me.

I had a problem talking with the customer service people at Dell. They outsource and I was really getting frustrated. I can usually understand them but this one guy was making me crazy.

I said, "I can't understand you I need to speak to someone who speaks english." He said, "I don't understand sir I am speaking english." I told him he wasn't doing it as well as someone else might. He transffered me to his supervisor.

The sup was an American employee. My suggestion is call them back ask for a supervisor. Make sure they know it is not their fault. If they ask if they can help you say sorry no I need a supervisor. They should help out.

If they still cannot ask to be transferred to a US Regional Office. This should transfer you to a number that won't transfer you out of country.

I hope this helps you, good luck.

if you get the run around again. Send a certified complaint letter to the baord of insurance in your state informing them of the steps you have taken. I can promise that when they receive the call from the insance board they will move heaven and earth to get in touch with you
