Sounds like game playing in both directions to me. Talk to him, find out his intentions and get more in tuned to yours. Date if it's the right thing to do, move on if it isn't. Good luck hun.

Either he is very skittish, and nervous about asking you out, or he is actually in another relationship. If it is, indeed, the former, then why don't you make the first move. I am sure that he will be appreciative of being let off the hook!

Well, you can stop it by saying you don't wish to talk to him any more. It sounds like he is interested, but he isn't courageous enough to actually ask you out. If he won't do the deed of asking, tell him you aren't interested in pursuing the relationship in any way and that you would like him to stop contacting you.

Maybe he is shy and is waiting for you to make a move or he could be just looking for conversation
