Are you sure its anxiety? some of your symptoms sound like a thryroid problem. Depends on the sequence of events. Did you gain weight, while tired and groggy? which led to depression which led to your unhappiness?
Ask your md. But do research many doctors are ill informed about the growing thyroid problem

You need to put some loud music on and dance.
Then you need to make a list of everything you think would be awesome to do or have or where you would like to be, what you would like to do. Which, I know is hard when in the state your in you feel like you want nothing.
I had depression and panic last year. Realized that I was addicted to wanting to give everyone else what they wanted. Didn't even know really what I wanted. Long story short, I learned how to ride and realized how my thoughts controlled everything I was and everything that happens to me.
I have a whole different life now.
Do you have control of your thoughts? Start writing them down, start telling yourself how you are. Don't just let crap happen to you randomly. Your soul is itching for something. It is trying to tell you what it wants. And that is limitless. Totally, utterly, limitless.
Oh, you should get yourself off all those meds. You need a high in vegetable diet and take some Omega 3.
Life is not tough. Life is a piece of cake. (The more you say that, the more it will be true)
If I say life is hard, guess what, that is what it gives me.

I've been there, still not working, and still got at least 50lbs left to loose. Prayer and reading my Bible help me tremendously. Currently I've been taken off all of my meds, and I was on Effexor 300me, Lexapro 30mg, Depakote 1000mg, and Seroquel 75mg. I would be okay for a while, then get worse (suicidal or rapid cycling bipolar episodes). The doctor would increase my meds each time I got worse. Finally I wound up in a crisis recovery center for a few days, got off my meds, and I feel like a new person. The clouds have lifted and my energy level is what I'd consider normal. I often cry at things that aren't sad or even touching, then I'll laugh uncontrollably at myself for crying. I have gotten back to reading my Bible regularly, praying, and reading a book called Bondage Breakers by Neil Anderson. Please start with Jesus. He can help and guide you back to the life He wants for you.

Tell your doc to hurry up and figure out what meds you're supposed to be on, because it's obvious that they're not the right ones. And as an odd note, try taking a good multi-vitamin. I know it sounds weird, but it might be some part of a nutritional unbalance. I know when you're depressed you don't eat healthy and that doesn't really help.

Well that is it for you! Go ahead and buy the plot and the casket because you are done! Did that make you smile? How about now? Now?
Okay seriously, it sounds like you need to take an anti-anxiety drug and go to a support group for mental diseases. My mom is an agoraphobic and when she is getting ready to go out, she will have a panic attack. It is a very dilating problem and can't be cured but managed with medication.

The last thing you need is to deal with this monster alone. Find a support group, and try another medicine- and remember to take it. It won't do you any good sitting in the bottle.
I chose the word monster for a reason: It's one I've had to do battle with. A little exercise such as a short walk will help with the weight, and with stimulating your body to sort of balance itself out.
Are there any activities you enjoy? If so, start doing them more often. I've found reading, writing, and sometimes even baking are good. My sister- who used to have a ton of problems- has found that she likes building and painting doll houses and similar things- and she's good at it.
I'm not saying it's a sure cure, but it will help you focus.
Good luck!

Unless someone has experienced panic attacks, they won't understand. I had panic disorder for 5 years (following the death of my father who was my hero). They are HELL. The only medication (after trying many) that worked for me was xanax. I did get addicted to it and had to get help to get off of them. BUT I swear -- if the panic attacks came back right now - I would risk going back on the xanax for relief again even if I had to get help off of it again. You feel like like you are going to die. I also went to some counseling because I had a toddler at the time and I was so afraid of being alone with him and having a panic attack. The counselor assured me it would be ok and it always was. But you feel out of control. See if you can get some xanax, really. They gave me antidepressants and stuff - they didn't work. I feel for you. Try the counseling too. There's probably a place in your town you can go and not pay. You don't want to end up afraid of leaving the house. This disorder can lead to that. Mine ended after years of experiencing them thank God. I had a friend who got them after I had them and every time she had a panic attack she'd call me and I'd talk her through it. I wish everyone could experience just ONE so when someone says they have them all the time, everyone would understand exactly what it is. Hang in there - they probably won't last forever. Ask the doctor about xanax if you haven't already.

to fight depression, you have to find out the reason first.
then you have to concentrate on other things..
next, to get yourself focus on what you like like exercise, sport.
do this.. (since you have no jobs)
1, exercise 1 hours a day (1/2 hours each time, early morning (outdoor) and before bed - indoor exercise)
2. Read 1/2 hour - Bible or books you like
3. Watch TV/Videos for 1 1/2 hour
4. Look for job every day after lunch
5. Check your yahoo answer every day,..
6. Talk to a friend about if if you can or find a friend
7. Learn a new skill, do something that interest you..
8. Make yourself busy, think positive.
9. Pray if you Believe God
10. go shopping (if you have money).. buy something you like or you like someone to have..
11. give me 10 points..
That will make you day!!

The first wrong move is to look for others to "cheer you up" or "Make" you feel better; life is tough - sometimes you just have to get off your as* and get moving - go for walk or jog - No matter the circumstance - we are EACH responsible for ourselves; remember one thing: when you keep doing the same thing over and over, DO NOT expect different results. Good Luck.
