Lets see now. We should protect our country by having a border. We should not let ILLEGAL immagrants crossing the border no matter what race it is. We should speak english because that is our MAINE language in THIS country. But lets say Im from another country and i said all those things. Im not a racist, I am just a guy who loves his country. But since I am an American who loves his country, I am a racist. I am just sick to my stomach seeing these people calling me a racist. Dont even think about calling me a racist and all Im tryin to do is protect my country. You want to know what racist is? Racist is when you go into another country and force them to learn your language so they can help you out like lets say SPANISH! Racist and when you walk around protesting holding up a MEXICAN flag thinking this country is MEXICO. that my friend is racist.

I would imagine all of us who are anti illegal immigration have received the hate mail and IMs from the rabid pro illegal lobby ... I know I have ... how can you be a racist for wanting your country's laws to be upheld?? If there was a swarm of Norwegians pouring in illegally over our borders, I would protest equally, but would I be called a racist?? This race card thing is getting old, old, old ... and it doesn't hold water ... and to the person who said "BTW, there is no prerequisite for citizenship that requires that someone "RESPECT" our country or flag. That's an ignorant thing to demand of anyone,", well, if you don't intend to respect our country or flag, or our laws, what the hell do you want here? And why should we welcome anyone with open arms who so blatantly doesn't give a damn about our country and our traditions, but just want to take everything that's on offer? And to all those who seem to love law breakers .... cop yourselves on!! What do you want? Anarchy??

Well tay_jen, you'd be surprised. There are A LOT of people coming to America (where's Neil Diamond when you need him?)
It's not really racist to want illegal immigrants to follow the rules and all that. But there's plenty of stupidity on both sides of the issue. And quite frankly, it's far too complex an issue to draw a defined border between people who are "pro-illegal" and "anti-illegal". It's not anywhere near that black-and-white of a debate.
BTW, there is no prerequisite for citizenship that requires that someone "RESPECT" our country or flag. That's an ignorant thing to demand of anyone, especially in a country whose primary asset is freedom of thought.

I have to admit, I was never racist until I saw how the majority of illegal Mexicans feel that they are entitled to everything for free without paying a dime into the system. I was never racist until I saw how they dislike and disrespect America and the good people there while being illegally there in the first place! I was never racist until I saw with my own eyes their reverence for their ugly flag even when their own government treats them like trash. Finally, I was never racist until I saw that they are unable to argue intelligently and would rather use only swear and curse words, making them sound like complete imbeciles.

Wow, who's got you panties in a bunch. Your login name is even pissed...lol. I think you're getting a little too worked over this whole immigration deal. Aside from the whole terrorism theory, most of these people come over and do jobs that only lower class American citizens perform. Picking oranges in Florida. Digging ditches. Hardcore labor jobs. And their pay is so minimal. Yet, that petty money is worth so much more in their home countries where their families are starving. So, if they want to pick oranges and send the money back to their wives and children, who are you to stop them?
If you cared so much about jobs being taken away from lower class individuals (the only jobs illegals can get), you'd be an advocate for the very programs that are being taken away from these disenfranchised individuals.
Instead of worrying so much about Mexicans coming over and working in the orange patches, maybe you should protest against the money that is being spent on the war that could go to the hungry children of America. Or maybe raising minimum wage so that poor families can get out of the hell they're living in.
What have YOU done lately?

I support giving illegals a chance to become legal--not amnesty.I know there are laws that need to be abided, and I think fines and fees should be paid.Just like every one else does when they commit a crime.Face it,if ppl can get out of drunk driving with only a fee & fines, then it would seem illegals should get atleast the same option.I think being a working, decent, honest illegal is better than a drunk driver.
New slogan:::::Give peace a chance :-)or whatever.

The hispanic lobby's willing to throw the race card in a HOT SECOND to secure their position, at this point no holds are barred in their play for america, but Bonehead Bush and company see it as Great Fun to pit mexicans against americans. To them, poor people are kind of like dogs, unworthy of respect or representation, read more about em and you'll catch on to their mentality...they're makin' money all day long, so what the hell do they care? LOL You don't like mexicans? You MUST have some kind of problem! What do you mean you don't want somebody pissing on your car? You racist, or something? ROTF

i agree with you very much. I am also for sealing the borders and NO AMNESTY. I'm not at all racist though. I have good friends that are mexican, black, asian, indian, and white. I don't care about that at all. I just want the best for my country and i hate to see so much money being spent on illegals.

I am a person of color and I am not racist. But I am anti illegal immigration. With scary things happening in the world, Id rather have everyone traceable.....and this applies to citizens and immigrants. And I am talking abt all countries, not US alone.
