RIght now we have mass media and Cristians can just advertise Jesus to every1 ( almost) but 200 years there was no way to populate mesage og Jesus to most of the ppl on this planet.
There are plenty of remote areas where ppl never heard of Jesus or any of the creation stories. Since GOD is all mercefull and Just what would happened to ppl that never heard Jesus?
And let me note that 200 years ago Cristianity was mostly in europe and US which leaves bigger part of the world without Jesus.
Concider ( chilna , japan, India, asia Mid east and so on... )
Will those ppl go to hell by all Just or All-mercefull Being?

Granted accoriding to the christain faith you need to accept Jesus to get into Heaven... as far the other religions go .. they have their own way to getting into Heaven...

at the end of the day................no one can prove that accepting Jesus or following abc path one will go to heaven..........
my belief if I will go to heaven on GOD's Mercy.. not a 3rd person/agent/broker in between GOD and I..................if I need a 3rd person then it makes me wonder. does GOD think that it does not have time to address deal with his creation at the time of judgment???

The official Catholic/Orthodox view which never has changed since the very beginning (summarized).

1. No. People are sent to hell if they knowingly and willfully reject that which they know of the good/God/Christ. The more you know and have been taught of God and His will, and who He is, the more responsibility you have to believe, accept, and follow. A person is not judged on what they have not been given.

2. A person who has never known the Gospel, especial those that have no capability for access to it either by the time that they lived or by not having the Gospel reach their remote island, has the possibility of entering into the Kingdom. However, the farther one is from the truth about God, the harder it is to enter into the Kingdom. However, God gives to all people enough grace and enough possibility, that based on what they know, that they might live their lives in such a way that responds to God's grace. There are people in heaven that did not know who Jesus was and lived millennia before him. The Catholic/Orthodox Faith teaches that Adam and Eve are in heaven and so is King David (along with many others). The Catholic/Orthodox Faith holds great hope that ancent philosophers like Plato and Socrates made it to heaven.

A GREAT AND TERRIBLE WARNING! Christ alone saves. If this has been given to you, then you are responsible to act on that knowledge and seek out God's will and be incorporated into the Body of Christ, which is the Church. Accepting Christ as Lord and Savior is not simply saying such, but it demands a moral choice and constant moral action. It demands a Christian life and participation in the sacraments and the three fold path of (Purgative, Illuminative, Unitive).

But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves. For the truth about God is known to them instinctively.God has put this knowledge in their hearts. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God.
Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. The result was that their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead. And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people, or birds and animals and snakes.

So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other's bodies. Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen.

God will only hold you accountable on judgement day for what you know and what you have been given, and how you live your life based on that. Each of us has written in our hearts the Natural Law of God and we must live it.

Yup, they are all doomed to hell. Isn't it nice to be presided over by such a kind and thoughtful judge?

Not my problem. Shouldn't be yours, too.
