Yes many Christians divorce and remarry but GOD forgives and his mercy is everlasting.(Just how he forgave the drunk down the street and just how he forgave the hooker in downtown that used to sell her body for money, he'll forgive them!) So yes they commit adultery but GOD will forgive and the storm they're going through wont last long!!!!

***GOD bless

God will forgive just about everything (Jeremiah 31:34), but after He forgives, He asks us to "go and sin no more" (John 5:14; John 8:11).

It's hard for us to "sin no more" because we're living on a sinful planet, but God will give us the strength to do as He asks (phil 2:13; Philippians 4:13; Philippians 1:6; 1 Peter 5:10).

People can say what they want but the Bible stands and will be used to judge us in the end. The Bible is the word of God not someone writing down there opinions. The Bible warns against presumption sinning - sinning purposely knowing that it is sin. God will forgive I believe but I also believe that if that person continues on that path there will come a time when the Holy Spirit will be grieved and leave that individual and probabtion will be closed for them. So it is better to err on the side of truth, follow the Bible.

We can NEVER presume Gods forgiveness in our lives as a basis to continue on with illegal/immoral behavior, especially in the light of the knowledge that it is sinful. Jesus is filled with love and mercy and not one of us is to say just how He will dispense this forgiveness and love. We need to live as Jesus taught us to live and have sincere sorrow for our sins AND a firm purpose of amendment if we even want to hope in his mercy and forgiveness.
