You couldn't even really tell I was pregnant until I was about 22 weeks along. If you had a nice flat stomach before and are in good shape, it can take up to 6 months to show. Don't worry. If you miscarried, there would be NO DOUBT. I'm sure you are fine! Usually the doctor does a ultrasound at about 16 weeks, you should call your OB/Gyn and set that up. Then you can have the peace of mind that everything is ok and at this point, they can most likely tell you the sex of your baby if you want to know that as well.

You can feel the top of your uterus if you press gently in a downward motion, it'll still be under your belly button. You stomach doesn't really get "hard" though, it'll still be pliable, and you'll be able to feel little lumps of your baby here and there as it gets bigger. Your skin will stretch taught, giving your stomach the appearance of being hard, you can expect that in a few more months. While the chance of miscarrying is always there, it is reassuring that you've passed the first three months, so your odds are better now. Not having a hard stomach is not a sign of miscarriage. In fact, a hard stomach could signal contractions. Ask you doctor about other warning signs, or print them out from a reliable pregnancy website. Best wishes!

Not yet darling. Depending on where your baby is, some days it will be hard and some days it will be flat and soft. BE GLAD it isn't hard yet. I have been lifting this baby off of my bladder (sorry if I'm grossing you out - its true) all weekend just to feel "normal." It will happen overnight one day real soon! I am 26 weeks and some days this baby is flipping and somersaulting. Other days she is still as a statue. When I saw the ultrasound, she was never still for a second although I couldn't feel her at the time. You are NOT going to miscarry, so don't worry yourself about that. Godspeed! ...and congratulations!!!

Miscarring is common around that state of pregnancy...CALM DOWN, you don't know yet! Sometimes... you cant feel the uterus all so clear.... but thats oka... that just means you uterus is small and/or the baby is small. Try eating more and exercising.... keep eating but dont go to overboard. Congrats.... and Good luck.

i am 19 weeks and my stomach isnt hard either, dont get me wrong it has gottne a little bigger, put my pouch that was there before is still soft
they say once you hear the heartbeat and are past the first trimester your chances of a miscarriage drop considerably
i'm a worrier too, i think everything is a sign something is wrong, so its hard to enjoy the pregnancy
good luck and congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!
