Let's take Evolution for example. I cannot believe the number of times you people have said "Evolution isn't real, it's just a theory".
Honestly, my mouth drops open whenever one of you pin-heads drops that bombshell. You DO realize that Gravity is "just a theory" too right? And Relativity? "just a theory", as is Thermodynamics.
LEARN once and for all that Evolution, is a FACT and a theory at the same time. Yes, in Science that happens. All of the time. Evolution has been observed in both the Macro and Micro. To deny this is intellectual fraud at it's worst.
I'll leave links that correct the most common creationist lies told by those more interested in committing Pious Fraud than accessing the truth. PLEASE read them. They are written in the simplest language so that you don't get too confused or frustrated with all the big words.
If you are unwilling to read and learn, then refrain from posting a reply ok? Because I WILL test you on what you've read here.

Julia,
Thanks for proving my point about intellectual fraud. You have NO friggen clue do you? Gravity is and will remain a THEORY. There is NO law of gravity unless you get your scientific information from Bugs Bunny. And given the fact that you were too cowardly to actually READ any of the links I provided, I have a feeling that's closer to the truth than you want to admit.
Thanks again for proving my point.

Anniebananie,
You are asking about Abiogenesis, not Evolution. They are two seperate branches of science. Please try and focus for 2 minutes ok? Thanks.

Seekthetruth,
I find your name to be ironic in the extreme. You say you want to "seek the truth" yet you're too cowardly to look into facts that you feel interfere with your worship of an imaginary sky-pixie.
Oh and for your information, I probably know more about the history of the christian church than you'll ever know. Believe me I've read it and thought about it. And the more I think about it, the less sense your cult makes.

I agree completely and utterly 100%. Evolution is a theory BUT it is scientifically proven, as you said, such as gravity and relativity. Religion is not realistically proven, and the Bible cannot prove a theory. It is just a book created by schizophrenic profits 2,000 years ago.
If anything, athiests have an OPEN mind given the fact that we QUESTION beliefs instead of follow them. In other words, we don't open our mouths when someone's trying to force feed us sh*t.

Another thing, how can you NOT believe the theory of gravity? It has been scientifically proven. Without gravity, we would all float off this earth.

Earth = gravity
Space = none

Two simple facts for you.

Speaking of commenting on subjects on which one has no knowledge ....

The theory of gravity is not just a theory anymore. It's been proven that objects in space exert a certain amount of "pull" on other objects.

We can see this with our own eyes, every time we drop something or throw something. We can also see it in more dramatic fashion when we put spacecraft into orbit.

Can we see evolution in action in the same way we see gravity in action? No, because we don't really know where all the species of the earth derived from. Not exactly, anyway.

Evolution is not, as you say, a "FACT." That's why it's still called, even today, the THEORY of evolution.

Gravity is not the same thing.

These days, it seems to me that a lot of people out there make very faulty analogies when trying to make their arguments. Lots of people just don't know how to make good analogies anymore.

Your message, no offense, is another example of that.

You, pretentious and insignificant little thing... who does nothing else but incite hate, and try to cause doubt in the minds of simple and God fearing people !! you who does nothing else on this board but to linger COWARDLY over the Spiritual and Religious section, do you really think you are doing anything positive for your race and religion by coming here and TRYING DESPERATELY to cause doubt in the minds of this people ?? You will what ?!? You will "test" them on what they have "learned" here ?
So what if some fo the people who answered you LOVE GOD and believe in Him in the way they feel conmfortable and know best how to. So what if some are not of superior intellect as you pretend to be yourself ?!
You are an outright comedian... You remind me of a ghost who has no one to scare or impress.
Listen and listen GOOD... I believe in evolution and I know it is a fact and I do not see any clash between evolution and my Catholicism. If you think you have so much to teach, why not turn to the people of your own race and religion ??
What's more, I have not the slightest bit of interest in discussing anything with you because you PRAY on the naive and good hearted people. I wonder how HATE looks like... it must look just like YOU, pall !! Good... B.Y.E and GO AWAY you chameleon You cannot even spell "SEPARATE" -- With the surname 'Green' and calling us CHRISTIANS with that contempt, what precisely are you trying to do ? PROVOKE US INTO DOING WHAT ? Why don't you use all that energy you are wasting to get a job and work ? I really mean this... you really are pathetic, Yago

if evolution is real, then where did the first animal/being come from? and how did it get there? and don't say the big bang, because how did that start, and how did all that stuff get there in the first place, if you believe in all this science, then, why in the world would we have a purpose for living, if you believe no one put us here, it just happened somehow that is not quite clear, well, you should think through your side, if i was actually talking to you it might make more sense, but, in the science theories and stuff, there is no logical beginning

Though I'm not a Christian, I agree with most of what you said. After all, if we call evolution wrong, then atomic theory is wrong too because the idea of atoms is just a theory that's not mentioned in the Bible. However, you made one mistake: gravity is a law. (The other things u mentioned are right.)

Thank you monkey man let me ask you something you still fling poo or have you "evolved" past that? I think its funny that you evolution people get so mad about someone believing in God, you probably get so mad when you see the name God. But to answer your question we feel the need to help you realize that while you think we are retarted for believing in God we think you guys are fools for beliving all this (life) is an accident and that you came from a monkey! Seems kinda funny that you guys spend all your life trying to prove that God doesn't exist because deep down your soul is telling you that he does, and when you draw your last breath you will find out your life was all in vain. Hope you find what you are looking for God Bless!

Evolution is Satan's lies. I don't believe theories, like the theory of gravity, i don't believe that. If gravity was true why are there still monkeys? they would fall out of the trees. Plus I don't understand the 2nd law of thermodynamics but I know it means that the bible is true. hehehe

Once again evolution has never been observed in nature or in a lab. To think one species can come from a totally different species is not supported by any scientific data or even common sense for that matter. To think otherwise is moronic.

I couldn't really call my self a christian, but I have experienced the miracles that God himself has done. To me I believe in this world their are small minded people with not a lick of potential to open their eyes and see what is around them. It is so funny to hear people talk about evolution. Who really cares? We don't push our Christianity on you , so don't try to push your theory on us. Hey if you believe you were a monkey more power to ya. It's people like you that are so against our beliefs, but who do you turn to in time of need?? When you go through a tramatic experience in life we will just see what name you are calling out to save you then.

Why do atheists comment on Christianity when most have never looked deeply into it with an open mind?

By the way, a lot of Scientists are also Christian.
