The world without religion is like a doctor saying that a patient has 24 hours to live. No hope is being comforted for the patient. The world will fall into complete accuracy that in the end, they will have no faith of what will happen to them. That is why people create religion to calm a society. Even if religion is not true, people depend on these things for the better good. It is called a leap of faith.

I think it should be, what would the world be like without faith ! You don't have to have a specific religion to have faith. Faith gives you hope that things can be overcome, and life can get better. Without faith in something, many would have nothing to live for. All people know, down deep in their hearts, that they should do the right things. So, you shouldn't worry about where your going after death. If you do something just because you think it will get you into heaven, you've already missed the boat.
Do good, simply because it's what you naturally want to do !!!

That very well may be true, at this point in history.
We don't know yet, because we have yet to attempt to have a truly atheist society.
However, from what I understand, Sweden, the UK, Canada, and several other successful nations are almost entirely secular in their government. That, at least, is a step in the right direction.
But although what you're saying may, in fact, be true... we should still attempt to figure out a way to get religion out of our lives. For those of us that know that it's false, it's simply absurd to pretend something is real, just to keep the stupid people in line. It can't last forever.

Dear Yo!,
I would appreciate an accurate definition of "religion". However, in response to your question, one should consider that the belief systems of some people or countries is contrary to what Jesus Christ taught. For instance, certain muslims that believe if they kill so many of the enemy by committing suicide, is very wicked. People who practice polygamy are going to bring up chidren with a perverted understanding of the marriage relationship (this is also true of those that believe in divorce). There are also individuals that believe and teach that there is some practice or tradition they can do to ensure their eternal destination! And so, you have all these different belief systems that tell their followers that this is the "right way".
In reality, no one can "work" their way into heaven! If God, the Lord Jesus Christ, is going to save an individual it is by His sovereign grace alone. He is God! He is Jehovah. The Bible is His law book. And if one breaks the law, the penalty is eternal damnation (hell). And since all mankind are sinners (rebels), we all deserve to go to hell. God, in His great mercy and graciousness, has decided to save some of these sinners. In order to do this because He is perfectly just and cannot break His law, He had to pay for the sins of those whom He has elected to save. The only thing sinful man can do is, pray for mercy. If Christ is going to save you, it will be in the environment of hearing the word of God. "So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." You see "faith" is a synonym for Jesus Christ, and He is the only One who is faithful. For more info. see: www.familyradio.com. You can download a pamphlet entitled, "What Must I Do To Become Saved?" I hope this helps you.

It doesn't matter at this point. The war is between "good and evil". Good always wins in the end.
