Does anyone have any negative calorie food recipes or know where I can find some? Thanks for your help, in advance.

I know what types of food are negative calorie and I also understand why these foods are called negative calorie. I was just looking for creative ideas to cook with them. Sorry if I wasn't clear earlier.

I know of 2 Negative Caloric products already made. Believe it or Not Frozen Yogurt provides 3.3 Neg Cals per ounce. And a 12 Ounce Frozen Diet Coke, belive it or not, provides 12.9 Neg Cals.

Most frozen products when eaten provide negative effects to the caloric content. That is because your body expends energy to warm up the product so your body can handle it. So if you eat a cup of ice cream, the net caloric intake is somewhat less than what is written on the box due to you having to expend the energy.

There is a Math formual for this. Go to the following page on the web http://frank.harvard.edu/~paulh/unpublished/negcal.pdf and it will show you the forumla.

Negative calorie recipes are based upon the principle that your body burns 150 calories to digest a stomachfull of food, and so to be a negative calorie recipe would mean no more than the serving you eat is less than 150 calories...that could be a bite of cheesecake or 4 lbs. of summer squash...get it? I hope that helped you understand. Best wishes

buy a big lump of chicken, roast it with thyme and mint. then, without eating any, freeze the meat. defrost the meat and heat it before freezing it for a second time and again defrosting and heating it to just above body temp. eat the chicken. it will be delicous but in about 5 hours you will develop a rather messy form of food poisoning.
i accidentally discovered this 'negative calorie' meal two months ago... i lost 8 pounds in two days.
