Fire. Replace the carpet because even though the stain can be lifted out of the fibers it will remain in the backing and foam padding. This will link you to the crime if CSI is involved. The fire must be hot enough to incinerate the bones (1500°F at least) so you can't just light it on fire you will need to find an actual incinerator some where.

Burning is the most hygienic & fast way of corpse disposal.
Washing is good but to completely remove all the traces, burn the carpet as well.

The cops have a free pick up service and they have people in white suits that will clean up the blood for you. Just call 911 and they will come out promptly at no charge. This is what your Tax dollars pay for-pretty good huh?

take it to a police station. they have great tools for finding and eliminating blood. They have whole departments of cleaning teams to clean up after murder victims.
