First love?

Question

How many of you still think about ur first love...back when u were in high school - that guy/girl u always used to think abt. Do u really think a persons first love will last forever in ur heart? Has ne one out there actually managed to have a long term relationship with their first love, and how long has it been? I want to know whether i'd ever get over him...lol

I began dating my first love in 10th grade. We went out for two years and it has been six months since we broke up.

It was difficult at first, but then I got this book, "It's Called A Breakup Because It's Broken"...which I completely recommend...and things got easier and easier.

We are trying to stay friends (though his new girlfriend hates it) and while I want to keep him in my life somehow, it brings up a lot of old feelings.

I think about him less and less as time goes on. But deep down, yes, I think first loves always keep a little bit of your heart.

Let's face it, they were the one that all your firsts happened with. They changed your life because they opened you up to relationships and love. The memories will never die and I think the feelings will always kind of be there....not that these emotions should be acted upon....but they'll be there nonetheless.

am 25 yrs i still think am have my first love its possible if only you two are meant to be. we lost contact after three of relation i traveled to the states and i had a boy friend but i never went through a day without thinking abt him until i came back home went round loking for him and when we met it was like we've been together all this years it was fun and full of love we really love eachother and it worked we're staying together with our son. so if you two love each other believe me no matter the distance and time things will work out for you if only is meant to be. good luck

well, lets see, my first love relationship lasted 4 years and its tough to think bout him now that he's gone and all but those memories last in ur heart. the good and the bad it took me several months to get over him and my heart still hurts from time to time. but it'll take time for you and all of us to get over the first relationships.....
i'm 20 i had my first when i was 15 and it lasted till i was 19

I think I will always love my first love. We was together for 5yrs. I am 21 now. We grew up together and expierence a lot of things. and that will always be our foundation. Although we have grown apart we are still freinds due to our history. I have been out a realtionship for 1yr. He will always be in my heart .

well, im 13, and my first love was when i was in grade 6 and it lasted for 10 months, i never thought it wud have ended both it did, but i dont think about my first love really, hes a friend and all but i have a new love and it makes no sense keep thinking of him when i clearly left him for a reason.

IM 28 ,MARRIED FOR 7 YEARS,3 CHILDREN AND I STILL THINK OF MY FIRST LOVE ... I DONT THINK A PERSON EVER REALLY GETS OVER THEM ,ITS BEEN 15 YEARS ( I HAD SEX AT A YOUNG AGE) AND I STILL THINK OF HIM AND WONDER WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN, IT WAS MY FAULT WE ARE NOT TOGETHER NOW BUT I WOULDNT HAVE MY BEAUTIFUL BOYS EITHER SO IT ALL WORKED OUT OK.

my first love was a boy who does not even know I liked him. It's been almost 20 years. I think about him sometime (rarely), but I don't love him anymore.

i dont have any feelings towards my first love... he wasnt able to fight for me so i tried to forget everything about him... now he is completely erased in my mind
