Yes, I am proud to be an American but ashamed of most of the things that President Bush has done!! This reflects on the man and not the country as a whole. There is no greater country on earth!

You'd better believe I'm proud to be an American. I know that this country is not perfect and there are times that I think to myself, "I wish we would have done it differently" But this country is the best in the world, and I think that's why so many people come here. So, yes, I am proud to be an American, warts and all.

I'm proud to be an American because of what America has been in the past and what it can be in the future, though I am disappointed at how things are going now (at least how things are going among our "leadership")

Yes, I am proud of what America was before it became a dictatorship. I am proud of My Dad for his service, he was a vet, proud of my two sons who are also vets. I am proud of my Mother who worked hard most of her life for 3 kids.
If America were invaded I would fight to the death to defend it and the Constitution. Never in our History has the Constitution and Bill of Rights been more trashed than under Republicans. Never in our History has the USA been hated more than now under Republicans.
God help us and God bless the USA.
Sept. 11th. was the greatest failure of our Government to protect all Americans in our counties history under Republicans. In my book failures should be fired.

Im very proud to be an american. Just because I dont agree with the gov't and what they are doin doesnt mean you stop being american. We just need to get more people to stand up to the govt remember they are supposed to work for us we elect them we should be able to fire them.

Proud of our heritage and country which is yet the best hope for individual freedom. We stand on the shoulders of over three years of those who preceded us continually expanding individual freedoms. From Celtic Village law to Magna Carta to our Declaration of Independence to the Constitution that individual freedom has been paramount. Clearly it has not been a path without bumps, twists, and turns, but it is still focused on individual freedom.

yes and no. im proud of the opportunities i have here. and thankful that i was born here. but when i look at what america does in wars and how they affect the world i dont like what i see. I think overall i love the diversity of this country, all different cultures crash.
but sometimes i wish they had different official languages like spanish, french, Nativeamerican toungues, hindi, japanease etc. because WE ARE ALL IMMIGRANTS IN THIS COUNTRY, SO WHY SHUD ENGLISH BE THE MAIN LANGUAGE!
