a decent guy is someone who treats people with the respect they deserve. faithful, truthful. friendly funny. this is the perfect fella, unfortunatly not the type most gals go 4! -x-

A good man is not limited to, but includes the following....
1. Respects his mom, sister, grandma, aunties, etc.
this is necessary so he will respect and appreciate a woman
2. Knows who he is, where he is going, and what he plans to do with his life
money is not the key, it is that he has goals and as a woman, we can be by his side to help him. My man does not have money. He works an honest job and he does have a goal of starting his own little business doing painting, etc. I want to be there to support him if he does in fact get this off the ground OR if it just not a possibility, I want to be behind him to support him and let him know that he is just as wonderful as an man whether he is the employee or the employer.
3. He has to know that love is not just saying it, it is doing it as well.
I don't need flowers, cards, or anything else that eats into our budget. We have a better time just being together. We cook together, laugh at the same shows, and laugh at ourselves. Real love is being there.
4. He must know his self worth
not the guy who thinks his poo doesn't smell...a guy who knows he has a lot to give to a relationship. He will know that he is worth a mate that appreciates him and will love and respect him. A guy who doesn't know his self worth will do the same as a weak woman. They stay in horrible relationships and do not get the opportunity to grow as people, really know love from another person, and give up on happiness
5. He NEVER, EVER raises his hand to a woman
self explanitory-walk away-a woman also NEVER, EVER has the right to raise her hand to a man. If it is that bad, walk away and NEVER return

My decent guy is defined as a controling, overbearing, sadistic guy. He should not be afraid to take matters into his own hands. Just like the guy that calls me his wench!!!

a decent guy doesn't have to be the most handsome or intelligent person. but if he can make a girl laugh? he is the hottest person on the planet! at least to me.

a decent guy no how to treat a girl doesn cheat on her or use her and doesn have a bad reputation girls will always prefer a decent man to a dirty one

well i would define a decent guy as smart, kind, funny, treats me like a lady should be treated, would stick up for me if ever in a bad situation, supportive, and they do!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~Dessy~
