You can use Frontline Plus on pregnant cats. My vet told me that it was ok, I still wasn't sure so I called the helpline and they agreed it was ok. The number is 1-800-660-1842 if you want to check it out.

There are natural flea repellents that use a strong citrus oil formula. This is not harmful, but it does make them drool when they lick their fur. I have also found it to be, mostly, ineffective. Texas fleas are tough!

I would not think that is is harmful for the mother while she is pregnant, but after the kittens are born it may be another matter. You do want to find an effective way to get rid of the fleas before the kittens are born or they will be all over those babies.

Your local pet supply store will probably have products and people who are qualified to tell you what is safe and what is not.

I would consult a Vet before you do anything as kitty is expecting :-) It's much better to be safe than sorry.
