If you are talking about political elections, I do not vote. All you are really voting for is whose lies sound the best.

I do vote in presidential race years, but not so much for the local or state elections. Truthfully, the way our country's electoral vote situation is, even if I didn't vote at all, it really wouldn't matter that much because I consider myself a democratic voter and my state routinely votes democratic anyway. I do vote "just in case", though.

During my life I have lived in 11 different places and have never missed an election yet. If you don't vote, you don't count. In fact if you don't vote it makes it easier for others to control the direction of whatever juisdiction is being discussed. So don't vote, it makes it much easier for the rest of us.

40% did not vote in the last Presidential election. In local elections sometimes it is 50% to 60% who don't. If people don't vote how can they complain. We must do better than this. It's disgraceful.
